Slim: Cringe level of "U.S.A.!" chants at the U.S. Open?

if someone could collect all the 'GETINTHEHOLE!!' geniuses from around the world and lay them all down somewhere, I would happily buy a very heavy pair of workboots and stomp all over their faces.
right up there with the grown men who don all over body and face paint to go to games and....every travelling England soccer fan
There was also a guy that yelled something to the effect of "shove it up my a$$." I didn't know FW was at the open.
looks like SPC is now in Wyoming. over 1k miles cycled. thats insane. how is she feeling?
Brutal climb coming up, but after that, it's basically downhill all the way to the Appalachians.
It has been an eventful few days. SPC spent the past 2 days trying to stay ahead of a bigly snowstorm/rain/windstorm that spread across most of montana. It was important to stay ahead cuz biking on some of those trails when its muddy is damn near impossible. There was a stretch that nearly broke her. it took her 4 hrs to hike her bike 5 miles during the heat of the day. She was the last to go that way before they did a reroute. This was billed as gravel ride not mtn bike and we believe that the rest of the ride will be more gravel style. She never learned bike handling as a kid. She crashed hard a few times and knocked out some teeth and decided biking wasnt for her. She relearned how bike 4 years ago and has next to no mtn bike skillz although they are now improving having been thrown into the fire with a loaded bike weighing 55 lbs
The pro F scratched from the event and skipped approx 70 miles that you can see pretty clerly on the tracking info page. For some reason she is still being tracked even though she it no longer racing. She is riding the route with a sprinter van following in support and has no gear on her bike. I have no idea why her info is still up but she is def not in the race. There is more to this story but now is not the time
SPC is feeling great. Yesterday was a big push and she caught 2 riders ahead of her.
Today is short for her (90 miles) and she will spent the night in sheridan wy. There is a large stretch of nothing after sheridan and its just too late for her to procede into the great wide open. She is currently tied for 4th and is 1st for womenz.
eta I just saw CT and TB, db all scratched but are proceding and are now white which must be the code color for scratch
Hope SPC is ok. That sounds brutal. Props to her for carrying on.

I know I’ve asked this before but can’t recall.
Which is the better poker room for the following between Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods:
1. Wait time for a game
2. Less reggy
3. Likely to have a few options of games to play
Do not care about big stakes. I will not be bringing a lot of money to a roadtrip to see the in-laws, but I most likely will need a few hours on Friday after a few days with everyone.

she is a fcuking beast. She is fired up and ready to start uncorking some big rides. She is already off the bike for the day getting all her chores done and is excited to start really early tomorrow and knock back a bunch o miles. Unfortunately there will be a headwind.
Gogogogo SPC. Been a lot of fun following along.
I'll take a headwind over a side-wind any day. Glglgl

sick update, having to fade weather like that sounds brutal - the more i think about this race, the more i realize how badly i would have gotten my ass kicked (main issue was i was thinking about my euro bike rides in miles and my dad reminded me recently we were doing kilometers)
very jealous, wish i could of made it despite how brutal it would have been - definitely going to bring a bike out west this summer and would like to join that montana one and we can hit up all the podunk indian casinos out there (there's got to be some right)

if you venture up to mgm springfield please get in touch, decent chance i'll be spending some time there in the near future and have boku food comps racked up i've never used yet
hot tub etiquette question
recently acquired one, and usually do a soak about 5-7 times a week - even more as it's become my tradition to take a quick shower then go in the tub without jets to check for ticks as one does
even if i literally just finished peeing, the second i sit down in the warm water, my first instinct is to evacuate any smidgeon of urine that must be still stored in there - this is not a post void drip situation (i can wear khakis) but for whatever reason the minute i enter the water i just want to unload everything i got - it's fine when solo where i can hop out or lean over the ledge and get those few milligrams out but not in the tub - but i need to learn how to end this for when i have guests and/or go in other people's hot tubs as a guest

Will do, thank you! I didn’t know there was a third option.
I’ll prob see what the traffic patterns are come Friday. Everytime I’ve thought about going to Foxwoods or Mohegan on previous trips, ive backed out after seeing how backed up traffic was.

My first time posting in this thread but happy to help with this question.
Foxwoods is your best bet I think. Mohegan Sun is the better room in my opinion (I play there 1-2 times per week) but FW is far more likely to have multiple types of games running. Additionally, if you are looking to play this Friday (June 21), MS has Day 2 of a large tournament running that day so wait times may be longer than normal. You can call ahead at both rooms, although Foxwoods doesn't take call-ins for $1/$2 NL.
Less options at MGM Springfield but traffic may end up being a lot better. Getting to the CT casinos from my part of the state (New Haven) can be a pain in the summer.
fwiw, a lot of the players at mgm springfield are old foxwoods/mohegan regs who actually drive more for springfield
idk why that is (games are soft but i've found they're soft everywhere)
they aren't close so mgm could be too much of a commute depending on where you're at - if you go call them at 413-273-5767 to put your name on the list when you're about 30 min away - i do that every time and i've never had to wait for a table

the only time I pee in a hot tub is when I'm also taking a dump in there and some dribble comes out involuntarily. not much you can do in that situation
