4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.
5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

no - hamas' goal is the destruction of israel and the extermination or forced deportation of its jewish inhabitants, which has 0% of happening thanks to the greatest country in the world, the USA. it's not possible for them to win

I think you guys don’t understand that if Hamas “loses” the war with Israel that they will gain lots and lots from the worldwide support that will come.
This is why you can’t fight Hamas how they want to right; if they lose, they will come back stronger with more people and more monetary support.
If they win then they have saved the Palestinians from the IDF
I feel like the pro exterminating Hamas side doesn’t realize Hamas wants to be almost destroyed so that Lebanon , Iran etc feel compelled to support their new brothers.

It is a loser ideology that too much of the world (especially the Islamic world) subscribes too. It leads to nothing but death, destruction and despair. Such a nihilistic, self destructive, self limiting worldview. It is just sad.

on oct 7, thousands of young armed hamas people went into israel and raped and murdered about thousand israeli civilians. elderly farmers, kids attending a concert, toddlers, etc.
hamas then said that their next action would make oct 7 seem like a rehearsal, and that the 'main event' was yet to come. feel free to speculate as to what they had in mind.
i take them at their word.

Also, very under-reported that after their initial successes in the South where they caught Israel completely off guard and hit a bunch of soft targets, several hundred of the invaders kept going North to kill as many Jews as possible in a clear suicide mission. And they didn't even do a very good job of this (the killing Jews part, the suicide part worked out).
All told, over 1,000 Palestinian Jihadis died during the invasion, pretty much the same number as Israeli casualties.
It is actually wild this is pretty much the pinnacle of Palestinian military success. For any Western nation it would be a disaster to lose 1,000 fighters to enact a complete surprise attack and kill ~1,000 (mostly) civilians and capture a couple hundred more.
