2024 World Series of Poker May 28th to July 17th ***No Spoilers***
The 2024 WSOP will take place at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas from May 28 to July 17, 2024, with the Main Event running from July 3 to July 17. The Main Event – poker’s undisputed freezeout world championship – will have four starting days, beginning on Wednesday, July 3. Players may also register directly on Day 2.
I am annoyed to know end that PokerGo is not streaming the $50k PPC till 7pm Vegas time today, considering the $50k PPC is restarting at 1pm Vegas time.
PokerGo streaming coverage should begin at 4pm Vegas time, imo, considering this is the #1 event of the summer.
If any wsop event needed blanket coverage, it's this one.

I’m annoyed that nobody running the streaming sites where I usually watch ppv events is a poker enthusiast. There’s **** like regional mma and wnba in the way when ur looking for ufc PPVs. We need a hero.
Gus was accusing a few of the FT regs of using it RTA when he was on his massive downswing. I believe he accused SallyWoo (no idea who that was) directly in chat while playing.
Also, there was a recent interview with San1ker/RaulGonzalez, a nosebleed HU crusher that was on Runchuks podcast where he said he had his own solver coded (not sure if it was for stud or maybe it could have even been for badugi, IIRC.)
There definitely are some solvers/tools out there but they are usually private programs that are coded by hired developers by elite poker pros. But considering that HS mixed games are no longer running on pokerstars, the demand for these tools have significantly drooped and it'll probably stay that way. The only reason GTOwizard and tools like that are so popular is because they focus on NLHE and that game is so popular and so many people want to "live the dream" so there is definitely a market for it.

What’s his name? I didn’t know he ever went public. I heard from a former reg (might have been timex) that he was staking a significant number of the current Triton regs. Not sure if that’s still the case. I remember he almost quit poker after his main game (HUNL) started getting way too hard. He started playing 2-7 at the highest stakes with Gus and went on a massive upswing and then proceeded to take that money and go into staking MTT bosses
The WSOP has completed about 55 live events, and I almost certain Deeb has played more than half of them. (Also three of his cashes are online.) I'd put the over/under at around a 40% cash rate.
and that's events, not buy ins. He will have had many multi buy in tourneys before he got to a cash and in ones where he didn't cash
many of us who are decent hold em players can envisage YOLOing to a bracelet win if we get great table draws, run incredibly well and avoid **** ups. (and the winner of this year's 5k 6 max proves it...NOT a good player)
but man, it seems that it would be basically impossible to do this in the 50k PPC. So many games, so many small and medium pots, basically no easy money

I don't think he disclosed his name. He announced he was retiring after getting crushed by berri + no one wants to play him HU. This was about 3 years ago now.
This is the funniest hand I have ever seen 😃

I'm not sure how to contact anyone at the WSOP, so maybe someone can pass these issues on:
1) The results from position 320 onwards in online event #11 have been copied to online event #12
2) The poy rankings have always been incorrect this year and still are. The points per event are being calculated correctly but not added according to the new restrictions. The #1 ranking is currently correct, but as Siever has already cashed 10 times including 1 online cash, if he cashes in even one more event his score and potentially ranking will be incorrect. I'm just trying to avoid another 2019 style incident.
Occasionally I forget how awful Tuchman is, but then I hear him
Well in first year calculus, which is exactly the level of math a pro should know, you learn about integration. And the most important thing you learn is that any problem can be split intk smaller and smaller parts until it is solvable. That is why I brought up cr ev in the other thread because at the time when that came out it made decision trees( in terms of serious poker)much more accesible. decision trees are just one of the parts of what we now call “solvers”.
The pieces that make up a solver are understandable even to someone like me. So… its actually suprising there arent more solvers.
Ok maybe Santosh then has overbet bluffs sometimes and he probably has some free coaching from friendly top pros so he could be jamming with straight blockers, but it would be very advanced play starting to drive such a huge bluff by raising the turn after checking back the flop.
Im not sure how much he had time left but he didnt even tank, snap after count. What does the solver say about the T4 call, is it even a good catcher?
I love me some santosh. Hes like me part vip idiot, part gto nerd part feel player. he fighting.
This Rotholz has like 1 BB, it's amazing he's hanging on
How could they not have found literally anyone better to commentate the most prestigious tournament of the summer?
It's absolutely unreal how bad Lindgren is at poker....
This is the funniest hand I have ever seen 😃

It's a snow. Think you are supposed to do that more with paired low cards so you will have blockers.
Yeah, Bleznik got super lucky that two opponents caught Aces when he already had one in his hand (not to mention the other broadway junk).
omw to airport.. will be in the world of degens 9:45 local time!
He’s so awful, man. Constantly cutting off the guests who are sometimes telling amazing degen stories of the golden years (Stars and FT money flowing like water). Just because someone at the table is saying something for 5 seconds doesn’t mean it’s worth all of us hearing. I know we want to hear the table talk, but try to read the situation better
Pokergo not starting it's 50k coverage for several hours today seems like a pretty big oversight when they're only playing down from 12 to a final table today. Especially with a bunch of big names playing today who may not make the final table. They've already missed having Grinder on stream today and it's not impossible Ivey and or Negreanu could bust before the stream starts too.

Just add it to the growing list of dumb decisions
Ausmus is having an insane year. Currently 2nd in the 50k.
