To reiterate some of the points:

2. Racist posts and other bigoted statements that target a particular group or individuals of such groups with derogatory comments are not allowed. This should not need further explanation.
3. Graphic Images need to be in spoilers with a trigger warning.
4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.
5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

One of the most famous France Jews still alive, Serge Klarsfeld, who is basically the closest to an actual hero france jews can have, having worked relentelessly for decades to hunt down nazis and bring them to justice, declared that Le Pen is less antisemite than Melenchon to the point in case of a second round runoff between those 2 options, a Jew should vote the Le Pen candidate for self preservation.
I think that person is a "tad" more qualified than anyone in this thread, and most other people in european societies in general, to assess who is actually a material threat to jewish lives, and so i think we can confidently claim the debate about who is more antisemite between the far right and the far left in europe is settled, and the answer is the far left is objectively more antisemite
So what? He's happy for Jews to be temporarily displaced by Muslims as the national target for hatred ?

I would prefer that people do not use the terms killers, extermination, genocide. Especially when used like "So you support killers?" I realize that request is near impossible.... but the especially part in the last sentence will get you banned if I see it. IT IS TOO INFLAMATORY and does not belong in ANY conversation/debate.

yeah the west bank makes this whole thing clear, if it was still confusing to anyone. their stated objectives in the gaza strip are to defeat hamas and to free the hostages, but in the west bank, there is no hamas, and there are no hostages. just illegal occupation, illegal settlements and more land grabs: ethnic cleansing.

Do you think a flippant, indifferent attitude towards Jewish suffering at the hands of Hezbollah rockets and drones is helpful towards Israelis/Jews who oppose the war?
Anyways, Israel has signaled they will occupy Gaza until there can be a transition to a peaceful occupation by outside Arab states. They are not interested in allowing Palestinians self governance.
Hezbollah demands Israel leave Gaza, and says they will keep attacking Israel until they do so. Israel has already indicated this is a non starter and either Hezbollah will have to alter their position or there will be a total war.
If Hezbollah wants to join Hamas in their war effort against Israel, I guess that is fine. But they have to accept Israel will respond, as any reasonable nation would.

--This is an opinion piece so take it for what it is worth. But the author of this piece is convinced that as part of its recent trade agreement with Iran that China has decided to directly help Hamas with weapons and engineering know how.
If this is true, it seems even greater motivation for Israel to not stop until Hamas is destroyed. And by destroyed I acknowledge Israel isn't going to be able to stop them from recruiting more 12 year olds to die for the cause. But if it can cut off the weapon pipeline and stop them from procuring and using Chinese weapons, seems that would be a big deal.
