most of my heritage (as far as i know) is german, czech, irish, and scottish.
i think i'm understanding dazzle's point.
different ethnicities require different forms of government representation and public support. like for example english people build wealth out of nothing all on their own with no help required from anyone else, so they need to be left alone.
turkish people, meanwhile, are pickpockets and thieves, so they need to go to jail. preferably someplace else.
we should just do a draft, relocate everyone to where they are drafted and see how it goes

BTW afaik the US is the only other country than Germany where the card game Skat is played in significant numbers. Like even Austrians hardly heard of the game. Any murricans here play Skat?
first i heard of it was this tuesday. it was in a crossword puzzle i had no idea what it was i thought skat was poopoo peepee

Yeah it's pretty bonkers tbh.
One thing is you have to play certain cards in certain situation if you have them. E.g. if 1st pos plays a heart and you have hearts, you have to play one of them (unless heart is trump then you can play a Jack). But since everyone's cards are hidden any mistake (or cheating) becomes obvious (to the very observant player) only after all cards are played out, so you end up arguing about who played what 7 hands ago. 😃 There's usually not much money involved, if any. Otherwise playing that game well drunk could rake huge profits.

That game has an excellent reputation that I know about from studying card games. And it uses the german deck! When my family came over here on boats, the two important family games were chess and pinochle. I played skat once or twice but would get confused since i dont play those kinds of “real “ card games very often. People in kansas city suburbs play Bridge and Whist very seriously, tho that crowd is getting old. And a lot of people play mahjong.
I dont play skat, but am aware of its reputation as one of the best card games. That would be a pleasant evening to play some skat against a german such as yourself.
