Legitimate question, do people outside of poker know who Kevin Pollck is?
Like I know him from poker… and because he’s been treated like a celebrity on ESPN WSOP.
And I guess I saw Usual Suspects? But I can’t imagine anyone cares about this guy? Just put Dwan, Nacho, Barstool Nate etc on
Yeah I can’t imagine anyone cares about watching him play poker. Is there a single person who is not a poker fan already, who got PokerGo to watch Kevin Pollak play? While there actually might be quite a few for Barstool Nate if they wanted to go the celebrity route.
Bubble boy gets a buy in to next year right?
Pollack giving up soooooo much equity. He could have a healthy stack if he was wiling to risk bubbling.
I keep hearing the commentators speak of chat during the live shows. No problem as to YouTube back then, but now that live is exclusively on PokerGo, I can't get chat. How can one get PokerGo chat on Roku, watching via TV? I see no way.
Yeah, it's kind of annoying... I thought I could watch on my Roku but chat in a web browser. But then I get a notification that I'm watching from two different devices, and it kicked me off one (my comp).
I agree: I'd enjoy having both worlds. Come on, Katz, get an engineer on it!

AK is a fold pre ofc but he probably should have jammed JJ.
CO open
BU flat
BB OldManPollack defends JJ

Check, cbet, call and Pollack has SPR1 to shove with good FE and can get it in versus undrpairs a lot but nit folds.
LOL the donkey who had like close to million chips and lets himself go broke with KK into AA on the stone bubble.
Bit2Easy just getting it in with KK for heaps giving zero ****s is epic 😃
Ivey with just about 1m stack. lets go
Shiina Okamoto is out. She cashed main event twice in a row, crusher.
Is there any beauties left? Maria Ho the best looking player left in the field?
Phil fkn Ivey ladies and gentleman!!! 😀
Has this been posted. Button raises, BB turns J2o face up. Button mucks. BB claims he didn't fold. Floor is called, who awards pot to BB. Another player at the table argues about it to tournament staff and is given a one round penalty.
What is it with these joker tournament staffs? Floor involved in this should be fired. Why do they always side with the angle shooter, as with Men stealing chips?
Unreal what a nit Pollack is. I guess OMC types cant help themselves even if they had a billion dollar bankroll.
He said in the interview that he waits to cash and starts playing some poker. They are ITM and now UTG+1 he just folds KQo "love the cards 9ohate the position" insta muck.
Id be mad he wasted time before calling for a min raise.
Lmao @worst call in history.
What a ****ing baby.
Hahaha wow. Indeed, Pak was clearly doing some quick math by asking for a count.
I once had a similar exchange, albeit in a much smaller scale (a hundredth of the buy-in, in fact), during one of the first live tourneys I ever played. I was in the BB with ace-rag. Some guy with about 2 BBs in the CO does this whole act: looks at his cards, puts them down to rub his eyes, looks again, puts them down and buries his head in his hands. Deep breath, shove. We're talking Razzie level of bad acting.
When it folded to me, I instantly called. He had KK, I hit my ace and busted him. On his way out, CO starts in about what a donk I am for not being able to fold a weak ace, not respecting his raises, etc. "Look at the price I got," I said. "If you had showed me two kings, I'm still calling there."
After the guy left, another player said, "He kind of did show you his cards," and imitated the Hollywood act. This got a pretty good laugh from the table.
In the Salhab-Pak hand, it appears that Salhab could have turned his cards up and Pak would still be correct to call.
Dwan still in?
Adrian Mateos is just so good. Probably has around 300% ROI I'd guess. His chip count has gone only upwards and now in top50
Photo of Dwan from the Main (not photoshopped)
Ya. I mean Tom looks like a 38 year old who sleeps 4 hours a day
Pollack is doing a fake shoe infomercial, for those missing it... It's as funny as it sounds
This is exactly correct. He doesn’t even look bad at all except around the eyes which is understandable because hes been concentrating. 30’s is a good time to start using some cream under the eyes, not that there is any thing unfortunate there im just saying.
