Daniel Negreanu's very own containment thread. All things Danny go here
how bad must he be when a girl falls asleep while making out and snores right after?
life fish..... food arrived but didn't eat it....
o well atleast the girl grinded him on the rails of a club, almost got kicked out for grinding? Kappa
I can go either way on Negreanu but I thought he was exceptionally annoying around the bubble in yesterday's episode. Just constant "Look at me! Look at me" antics.
The worst was him screaming out that he had folded AJ right when some guy's world was getting destroyed by running KK into AA on the bubble of the Main Event.
If this meant the world to you, then you should be folding literally every hand on the bubble.
If this meant the world to you, then you should be folding literally every hand on the bubble.
I think the point was that Daniel was behaving inappropriately at the time and making the scene about him when it would have been much more considerate not to try and hog the spotlight.

Agree, domda.
Not for nothing, I had a similar reaction to Brussels on that vlog when Daniel started in on all of the cameras surrounding his table. It was almost a "Wait, Daniel... you know they're not there because of you, right? You've noticed they're converging on every table with an all-in and a call right now, right? And none of those lenses are pointed at you, right?"
And .... he's out.
Event #92: $50,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em is starting tomorrow (Friday),
this will go a long way to determining if Daniel finishes down (-$) for this year's series.
I am sure that is really important to him, whether he is down for the Series after firing 2 bullets in the $250K.
How many WSOP plo entries he now has without a single cash. And calls it his best game
Daniel is in Event #92: $50K High Roller No-Limit Hold'em right now.

I think it is important to his fans, his 'haters' and to the people who buy his action.
How many WSOP plo entries does Daniel have without a single cash? And Daniel calls PLO his 'best game'.
I have come to the conclusion Daniel is trolling us when he calls PLO his 'best game'.
What are you basing this off of? He has 2 cashes in PLO events this Series and 7 cashes in PLO events in the 2023 Series.
3rd place in 2021 WSOP $50K PLO. Ausmus 1st and Hellmuth 2nd.

1st place in $5000 PLO event in March 2024.
If this meant the world to you, then you should be folding literally every hand on the bubble.
even if it didn't mean the world to the player with KK nobody wants to hear someone blabbering on about what they folded when the get felted, be it in a cash game or on the main event bubble.
to top it off he was acting like it was some incredible read to fold AJs on the stone bubble when it might as well be 72 offsuit at that point.
I was talking about this year but you need to get 3 years back
The worst was him screaming out that he had folded AJ right when some guy's world was getting destroyed by running KK into AA on the bubble of the Main Event.
The guy in question is an online crusher who probably couldnt care less that he busted, which is exactly why he chose to jam KK instead of folding it to get into the money.

This was the egregious part. Anyone who has played tournaments above the 0.02$ buyin range knows that AJ is an insta fold in that spot even without ICM. With ICM he might as well hold a deuce and a player's card... To make a big deal out of it as if hes making some "big fold" is just lol.
3 years back in the WSOPs to a 3rd place in a PLO high roller. You said he hadn't cashed in PLO, which isn't true.
It is hard to determine return on investment, because we don't know his buyins, but he has plenty of top 5 finishes in PLO tournaments.
Daniel is on his second entry in today's $50k High Roller No-Limit Hold'em event.
This will go a long way to determining if Daniel finishes down (-$) for this year's series.
Even Daniel Negreanu's fan boys around here gotta admit it's funny Daniel is gonna finish down for the wsop series,
after winning $1,178,703 in the $50k Poker Players Championship event.
The sour is back. The ink has barely had time to dry on Negreanu's bracelet winning $50K Poker Player's Championship story.
Loved the AA vs KJo hand. An absolute master class with regards to how to win the minimum.
Bravo.
Only dnegs can finish down after winning 50k event. And hes shaming the guy who "punted" with tens.
Today's video was an alltimer

If you aren't happy during the WSOP after winning the $50k PPC, you'll never be happy.
Also: In today's Daniel vlog, I learned Daniel is now down -$96,087 after winning $1,178,703 in the $50k Poker Players Championship event.
Seriously, if you can't be up money after winning $1,178,703 in one event, when can you be up money?
Probably up money long term. Most people are down for the Series. That is the nature of tournaments. the money is in the top places.
He dropped $500K on 2 bullets to the $250K. Either he plays with his own money or is up long term or like most people, he sells action to the $250K. He probably sells it at close to even based on his results in tournaments like that.
Winning that 5-day $50K 9-game is huge. 89 entries, mostly top pros.
I know people don't like him because of his sponsorship deal and outgoing personality, but this is ridiculous.

yeah i mean scott seiver and Ausmus are crushing and might end up down for the series
watched his vlog 2 minutes and that was enough. Just typical passive-aggressive "funny voice" rant.
It's just a matter of time before Daniel wins POY while being down money perfectly illustrating what a fairy tale grinding live MTTs is.
