How many are down for 5 years?

Probably all of them

i don't think people realize WSOP is a legacy series not a profit series

Is Negreanu down over the last 5 years at the wsop? He might be, but it looks like from 2019 on (the last 5 series not counting the 2020 online) he has cashed for something like 6 million. It's possible he's down, but if he is it's probably not by much.

Oh I've said this for 99 percent of the player pool this is absolutely the case.

He's been very honest about his results.

Looks like he was down 750k last wsop and down 1.2 m at 2022 wsop.
He won 600k in 2021 wsop and won 800k in 2019 wsop.

She only has essentially the Main cash this series sitting just over $700k total. So it really depends on how many bullets she fired the rest of the series and which high rollers she played but it's very very likely

Results alone are not a good metric because there is no way she had 100% of herself in high rollers while she likely did in the main.

You don't get to just move the needle otherwise

since Daniel very likely is near freerolling at WSOP he is up over a million this year

also at this point with the Foxen net worth she or atleast the household might have most of her action for the 25 and 50ks if not all of it

again, he posts his annual results each year, you can check his results, they are usually titled things like "how I cashed for 2.3 million but still lost money"

he is without a doubt down over the past 5 years - and if anyone here wants to pour over those and share, I wouldn't be surprised if he is down over the past decade as well

by rickroll k

Daniel is without a doubt down over the past 5 years

Daniel is down money at the WSOP since 2015.
But he's probably picked up greater than $100 million in endorsement money during that time span, so all is good.

by theporkchop k

Here is a list of players who may be down for the series despite crushing.

Scott Seiver(may end up in black with final result)
Adrian Mateos
Dnegs
Phil Ivey(prob not with pending result)
Chris Brewer
Nacho Barbero
Kristen Foxen
Nick Schulman
David Prociak
Bryce Yockey
Chris Hunichen
Chance Kornuth
Chris Vitch

and that is just the tip

If I hear this well he sucks because he's down money argument again I'm gonna kneecap the person who makes it.

Daniel may suck at PLO but overall atleast have an intelligent argume

Can you define crushing? I think you and I define it very differently.

And yes, Daniel doesn’t suck because he’s down. He sucks and is down. I’m sure he can play good if he really cares and is on a good mood but obviously he has played really bad most of the time, again.

Imagine having to pay huge tax on winning WSOP years while also getting no rebate for the years where you lose...Murica

For players under those conditions, WSOP absolutely is about ego and not making $

that QT76 hand was ugly

Came here to say this. It's hilarious how he tells us just how great he is at PLO and then he's going ham with QT76 double s00ted!

Of course if he had won that hand he'd be shoving the camera in his opponents faces while shouting "HA-HA, NANY-NANY-BOO-BOO!"

by TampaKn1sh k

He is trolling about PLO all the time.

Dnegs brings some of the bashing onto himself with his non-stop motor mouth delivery and his cringe attempts at humor, but he is living a good life, he's above board and plays an honest game. All the haters out there staying in their mom's single wide in dogpatch USA are jealous.

by NeeDigs k

She's just serving drinks for multimillionaires with 15$ wage and someone pushes camera on your face and says something cocky nonsense. Actually funny how Daniel reacted.

she overreacted to a common and perfectly benign way to get a server's attention. Daniel responded in good humor and much better than other paying customers would say she deserved. she showed her ass in that vid.

and we're all sympathetic to underpaid service workers. what she makes isn't on him tho.

lol "I serve, like, a lotta celebrities..." snarky waitress not in the mood for players fun and games. she was out of line but not a big deal either

Was a super weird response from her. Was fully waiting for a snarky response by Dnegs but he actually handled it pretty well.

I think she thought he was legitimately trying to big league her with the do you know who i am and gave a hilarious snarky response back.

Won a bracelet or multiple deep runs/ft's, or near the top of the winnings leaderboard etc etc that is what those names have in common

by callingstation44 k

I was at the same table as his first bullet at 1500 six-max PLO. He played very poorly.

You can tell callingstation44 is telling the truth in their whole comment because of this part.

I've commented on it already this summer, but the degree to which he does not understand Omaha (I'm lumping in FLO8 at this point given what I believe he recounted about HORSE in recent vlogs) is actually unbelievable.

It's like... uncomfortable to watch in the same way that all delusion is uncomfortable to witness.

no, not at all

the only way that could be the case is if she did indeed know who he was from the get-go

he opens up with "do you have a heineken on that tray with my name on it?" - obviously using a roundabout yet commonly generic method of asking if she has a heineken ready to go

this is how regular people who are not celebrities order food/beverages all the time - as such an experienced waitress as she claims, there's no chance that she was unfamiliar enough with that phrase to take it as someone big timing her with his name brand

her "i don't know your name" was not said in a fun way at all, there was no banter element to it, it was cold and harsh

99% chance she did know him and was just so eager to try to "own him" that she brute forced that in

then when she set it up with the "i don't know your name" daniel made a reasonable attempt at diffusing the situation with a joke of "well my name's on the wall" to which she doubled down

daniel then read the room, dropped it, and just proceeded to politely order the beer

he handled it very well from a woman who was clearly out to get him from the start

I think she took it the wrong way but he literally pointed to his banner after saying do you know who I am.

The initial "does that beer have my name on it" is pretty common. The pointing to the banner saying do you know who I am isn't.

Basically I think it was a joke gone bad and she tried to knock him down a few pegs bc she took it seriously.

And despite what vloggers in general think not everyone likes having a camera stuck in their face.

While he's generally very good about posing for pictures he's also been extremely rude on some occasions he's said no.

Why? Because he was in a **** mood (from busting out of losing a big hand) and the person asking had bad timing.

As someone who makes millions in endorsements from a poker site he's literally at work when he walks through a poker room same as she is when she's working as a drink waitress.

She was probably in a bad mood, thought she was getting big timed and reacted harsher than she should have.

Basically **** happens move on. It doesn't need to be posted on the Internet.

good point, it may not have been an "ugh i hate dnegs" and rather a "f this guy including me in his vlog"

i think his "my name is on the wall" wasn't big timing though, it felt like a light hearted and fun attempt to diffuse an openly hostile waitress

Yea he definitely said it in a joking way.

I saw MM get really pissed off bc some guy didn't wanna be shown on his vlog. It's mind boggling to me some people are shocked that not everyone they encounter wants to be vlogged.

Obviously some people enjoy it, and if someone is a fan of the vlogger they're more likely to want to be in it but it's not for everyone.

He handled that about as perfectly as you could.

To be fair, pointing to a banner with your name on it isn’t very common as most in room don’t have banners. And even if you do you must be playing at a table in view of banner. And must not get your beer too.

Huge parlay
