I hope he finally was able to change himself and remove himself from poker.

In fairness, he has not quit poker or dreams of being poker famous, but he is gainfully employed and works a lot of hours.

That's a huge improvement tbh, not that it's my place to judge.

i don't recall him from here, but took a 30 second look at his twitter profile and it's mostly him calling well known established professionals idiots for various blunders they made

seems like a perfectly balanced and healthy guy who doesn't fill his life with copium at all

Hold up. I didn't say he was stable. I said he had a job.

his twitter bio gives the impression he plays poker for a living

He's mildly delusional. He used to say him playing poker in his mind was akin to playing irl.

His tweets give clearer details. He has been working 6-7 day weeks lately (works for Amazon).

Didn't you get him an interview at Outback Steakhouse or something and then he no-showed?

One of the more classic thread moments.

When Turtle, APD and I had our podcast, we had him on as a guest. Absolutely A+++ interview.

Somehow, we get on about his future plans. Turtle breaks out The Graduate paraphrased quote: "One word: plastics."

His reply: "You mean like credit cards?"

(And fwiw Feely, Squid, and the KyddDynamite/RandalGraves interviews were also great. Some crazy chick who was trying to be a pro in Vegas...not so much. Dumbest 30 minutes of my life that Squid PM'd and warned me about but APD insisted.)

woah, i'm often doing idle work and listening to audiobooks or podcasts in the background - can you send me a link to your pod?

This was back in like 2013-2015. I have no idea if any links still exist. APD may know.

We were unofficially like the 73rd highest poker podcast at the time. Right in between a guy shuffling cards (#74) and some dogs playing poker (#72 - not the painting, just the sound of a bunch of dogs playing poker).

According to pokersnowie his play was 115% GTO

Legit still remember an AboveEV podcast where Skippy caught me by surprise and stated he'd probably fold 55 a lot UTG, especially in a tougher game. I certainly wasn't playing that nitty at the time and it was one of the main impetuses (along with a declining winrate and some serious self reflection on my game) that eventually brought about my current Super Nit strategy.

I posit that his levels of delusion are in fact elite

Weirdly enough I have had like 5-6 people remember that comment. And if I still played, I am sure there are certain games I still would. In the game I play in now and again it is usually a small open depending on the line up that night.

As someone who probably understands him as well as anyone else in this chat...yes.

He’d break psychologists

Skip is he back with his baby momma or still split?

I am not sure. I don't think so but it is hard to tell sometimes.

I forgot about your podcast, probably all the brain cells I lost listening!

Just weighed in at 230 - haven’t exercised in 3 years. I think it is time to get back to it.

3 year bulk phase complete.
