Omaha is a drawing game and sometimes you are drawing to a hand that only has a slight statistical edge. The reason I say you would like omaha is that it is based around equities which you seem to love to point out.

The real skill in omaha is learning and knowing when to fold. That is how you make money in the game.

This month I tried something new. I left 888 poker games for a month and wanted to test how many bad beats happen in GG's games. So I spent the whole month playing NL10 rush and cash games and the number of hands played was quite good. I lost $350.

There weren't nearly as many bad beats as in 888 games, though there were still some. A speciality of GG's games is that every time you have AK the whale has AA or KK. This happened over 20 times during the month. It raises the question of what kind of deck they are using. Their customer service is absolute crap. They quickly block your account if you complain about things. Otherwise, the games are quite different. It feels like GG's games are full of bots and the play lines are really odd. No limping and very strange lines in reraised pots.

Now for the good news. The Gambling Commission has forced 888 to start an investigation about the player kox44x. This will likely lead to him being completely banned from the site and funds being returned to many players. You need to thank me for this thing.

So it started with Pokerstars, then 888, then ACR, then 888 again and now GG; seems like the whole marekt is corrupt. I mean it's either that, or... 😉

Hmm that's an interesting observation. I think you should play a lot more hands and then you will have a huge sample size of them rigging the games, therefore you will have a better case of reporting their site as well as the bots playing in it.

In PLO you have 4 cards, not just 2 like in no-limit holdem. So when people select their pre-flop strategy, they look at 4 cards, not 2 (maybe you were always just looking at your 2 best cards and ignoring the other 2). Hope that helps!

That rake thing its true. Negreanu wants people believe they win more or lose less and won't tell how much the rake is. When you contact to their support they will but your account to blocked state and making it open again they want you to take your claim off. Rakeback is really small.

Never played on Pokerstars and I can tell you I never will.

It's just really odd that I've been playing over 15 years on many sites and on every site nowadays there are limpers on those smaller stakes even on NL10. On GG there is none. Also their reraising sizes are strange and everyone using same size. Like I open 4x and they put that to 2.85x like everyone there. And they are all super tight players. On 888 my screen blinks green so much that my eyes hurt and those whale tags are made in 10 minutes. 3-4 whales on every table. GG's player pool is something like 800 player and I have only few whale tags there. Really odd site must say and totally differs from others.
