nothing spectacular. She's always been a difficult neighbour - pushes her own agenda, constantly asks for small stuff, us to pay for things/cut things down that are impacting her garden. stuff that is her responsibility. launched a petition about the guy across the road because the colour he painted his new house (that he took 7 year to build) was like 1 shade of grey 'off' what is approved.
anyway, I got an arborist in this week to trim bushes that I've planted on our boundary with her and I asked her permission for them to access her land to collect the branches and clear up. She said yes and was happy about it. But then when they were doing it during the week she came into my house from the back garden having walked up steps and through a gate uninvited to check the work and ask me to tell the arborists to do more. (they refused).
I was annoyed about it but didn't say anything to her.
then yesterday she walked into my house from the back garden again to talk to me about the bushes. hadn't called and hadn't come to the front of the house.
I was painting and I just decided that I can't be doing with her any more. told her not to do this again and then when she got shocked and told me I was being unreasonable, i sent her off the property and told her to never even come to the front of my house again. she was not happy the snivelling old ****. the neighbour on the other side has already done this to her and I went round to tell them and we all had a good laugh

I have an empty house on either side of me. One side the lady recently had to go to a nursing home. The other side the lady died several years ago and her son keeps it up with seemingly no intention of selling it or moving in to it. Empty houses that are well taken care of make really great neighbors!
