Been there done that: There is nothing like breathing in that petroleum smell that permeates the landscape like a hanging fog. It gets right up the nostrils and also coats the tongue. Only powerful whiskey can cleanse the taste away.
After cataract surgery, I am now farsighted. Even though I had progressive lenses, I would take off my glasses to read. Now I'm still trying to take off my glasses to read when I'm not wearing glasses. Then I realize I need to put on reading glasses. This is weird.

Did they correct one eye for each? I thought my friends who have binocular vision and went through this said one eye was corrected for distance, one for close, and your brain figured it out.

When wearing contacts I often have to put on reading glasses. When wearing my glasses I take them off to read.

probably better for golf to not wear binoculars on your face, so i believe you made the correct selection when presented with the parallax paradox
My doctor told me not to bend below the waist for a month when I had the second eye done on Monday. I guess playing golf two weeks after the first wasn't a good idea. Never mind that face plant.
On the plus side, I will be able to drive in three weeks. Just like a big boy.
