"Raging" homosexual? There's a slur I thought went out with the 1980s.

would you prefer the term dogshit homosexual instead because that appears to be a-ok

socrates was also the first professional twice over as both an analyst and a therapist

why are you assuming I’m not gay 😵

socrates would never have confused "So you don't really know if it's true or not" with "If what you want to tell me is neither True nor ..."

less significantly, I think he was dead

[quote=Wiki]
Along with his teacher Socrates, and Aristotle, his student, Plato is a central figure in the history of Western philosophy.

Socrates died 399 BC

Diogenes born 412 or 404 BC

A it earlier than I thought but still pushing it

They were precocious kids back in those days.

by checkraisdraw

True story. It wasn’t useful because socrates was a raging homosexual

Not incompatible with him having a wife and kids.

Underestimating your intellectual ability is never an EV mistake. You deliver on target far more often than not.

Very wise to value satisfaction above reality

a lot of times people just dont even read it and make their own fantasy. that, or they are just act intentionally obtuse. but that is ofc the bad faith required to support the status quo and Democrat party.

by rickroll

i'd say he was more of a transcendentalist homosexual

Ancient Greek ideas about male homosexuality were quite different than modern ideas.

Critics viewed homosexual sex between men more as licentious than perverse.

roc please be courteous and don't use fancy words and make me look them up in the future

idk much about the greeks but for the romans so long as you were the top it wasn't considered a problem - elagabulus' main problem wasn't that he was banging his charioteer, but he made it clear to all he was the one getting banged

also, that post was a poor attempt at a play on raging

It's not gay if you don't push back.

so only power bottoms are gay?

Hey man, I don't make the rules.

Plato’s Symposium had a guy that was really thirsty for Socrates’s loving, but Socrates was portrayed as badass and manly because he was super ambivalent. IIRC they ended up in bed at the end of the night, after a debate on the meaning of love.
