As much as it would be great to rid the world of bad guys, most people understand if the reality is killing multiples more innocent people, devastating the economy/infrastructure of a country, and creating refugee crises to only maybe temporarily solve the problem until all those orphans grow up, the math might not add up. I understand none of that (well maybe the refugee part) factors into your moral calculation so it seems like an easy choice.
Like 40% of Lebanon is Christian, the idea that they're all Hezbollah collaborators is asinine, it's just a blatantly dishonest justification for mass murder.

because this is not a civil war.. its one country going into another country's capital and destroying buildings.

Myrna, if San Diego was under missile/mortar/drone strikes for 11 months, and you moved everyone from San Diego to LA for 11 months, and kids missed two school years, what happens?
The Israeli north is a ghost town. The agricultural industry is basically on fumes. Everyone in the North who had a business has basically lost it. And children are living in hotel rooms and not going to school. How long do you think that's acceptable? 2 years? 5? 10?
What country accepts this? That started Oct 8th man.

Israel uses Iron Dome (which costs billions) and bunkers in every home to save people too. There is a massive financial and psychological cost. Normal life in the North just ceases to exist. That's normal for you?

civilian collateral damage will always happen every time some people wage war from urban civilian areas, hide their weapons among them, don't wear uniforms when waging war and so on.
every civilian death is entirely and only the responsibility of these malevolent actors who wage unconventional war and then pretend no response is justified because there will be civilian casualties if Israel responds.

one thing that people need to realize is that Israel and the USA are lying about there being a military headquarters under these buildings or any of that bullshit. they have used this lie for 30 years to murder civilians and it should be especially apparent after the last year.

Or maybe respect the terms of the UN resolution (1701) you signed to keep the peace on that very border. Why even sign it if you're going to break your word so easily? What would signing the next one be worth?
Honestly, all the conversations I've heard on the Iranian regime falling apart from within are the most hopeful vision I have for the region. If Iran can be free from that leadership, and become moderate, there's no telling what places like Lebanon could become. But they have to remove the cancer growing inside them and stop starting wars over medieval mindsets like "we don't want Jews in the middle east". Get over it already.
