2024 ELECTION THREAD
The next presidential race will be here soon! Please see current Bovada odds. Thoughts?
when polish Italians Irish and so on came, they were the kind of people the American economy needed. mostly everyone was low education anyway (natives included), most jobs required informal educations and having "two arms and two legs" while being healthy (remember you pushed the sick, infirm and disabled away) in a mostly agricultural economy with some industry was more than enough to be productive and more than pay for yourself, given the relative abundance of land and capital in general vs wo
More racist trash from our resident turboposting Neo-Nazi. The Haitian-Americans in Springfield were actively recruited by the city to fill unmet labor needs. They're not uneducated and they're not a burden, they're keeping the local economy afloat. No one had a problem with them until JD Vance started spreading dogshit racist lies about them.

not exactly no, they filled low paying jobs and are able to live on those wages only because of taxpayers plentiful help, they aren't surviving on their work alone no.
half of them are on medicaid ffs, that's a monstrous burden by itself.
a working age immigrant should pay massively more taxes than he gets in services (for his whole family) to not be a burden, because then there is old age when a lot of what he paid in, comes back.
being on welfare and working age means you are going to suck taxpayers blood for hundreds of thousands of dollars per member of your household across your life.
this has nothing to do with racism, it's just the financial reality of low skilled immigration where welfare exists.
The interviews I saw with business owners said they were much more intelligent, reliable and trustworthy than the rural trash that grew up there. These people have sucked so much out of the system already we’ll never get that back. The immigrants were crucial to keeping the city afloat.

They do have those weird voodoo practices around supernatural beings and sorcery and spirits and sending messages to the "other side" and such.
Wait, no, that's the locals.

They're not on welfare, despite what racist shitheels on Twitter told you.
"sucking taxpayer blood" --FFS can we get a containment thread for this creep already?

if you could deport the bad citizens you would (or at least I would) but I can't, while it's possible to only import people that aren't a burden.
ofc people who keep employing someone will tell you they are ok employing that person (definitionally), that doesn't help assess whether if that person (and the rest of his household) is a burden or not for taxpayers though.
like not having a filter for people with very expensive illnesses (personally or in the household) is already pretty insane in a country that wastes so much money on healthcare.
and you know that, but you can't admit that letting in random people with no filter from poor countries is government sponsored charity that reduces the resources available to natives, you have to play the "his employer paying him 11 per hour is happy with him" card.
and it would be a card I would accept playing if that person and his household didn't get a single dollar of free stuff anywhere. not though CHIP, not with medicare, not with free ER access, not with free school access for his kids and so on.
but he does, and your team says it's absolutely morally right than he does, so please have the balls to admit it's state mandated charity

Define bad citizens ?
Does that includes born American citizens or just non natives immigrants ?

medicaid is welfare, 50% of them are on medicaid.
center left Reuters told me that, your bubble lied to you.
12-15k estimated by city officials, I am generous saying only 50%
lol Eurocucks talking about American immigration policy or citizenship rules is always hilarious. Deporting our own citizens is unconstitutional. Some would call it constitutional rape.

I see a propensity for obesity. Poverty. A yen for fairy tales. Folks puttin' what few bucks they do have into a little wicker basket being passed around. I think it's safe to say nobody here's gonna be splitting the atom.

Figured that was probably a quote so I googled it and I see that it was. Is that something I "should have" heard before?

if I could I would like for a system to exist to strip citizenship rights from anyone, a club that has no way to select it's members isn't going to be a very nice club, at least compared to a club that can and does select at least some.
So-called libertarians when people of different races and political opinions exist:

Seriously though this is your worst take and it’s not even close.
Well yeah. You’re awful and nobody wants a system where people like you have power.
sure you can hate my preferences as much as you want, but the facts remain ubtouched by that.
and the fact is everyone who doesn't earn significantly more than average, will be a burden on average, and you know that.
the system is designed for 65-70% of the population to be a burden to the 30-35% on top (fiscally, counting everything). the middle third is only a slight burden ofc per person, but it still matters.
the bottom third sucks the top third dry.
you want to claim importing random ppl is going not to be a burden, you have to show your numbers and no, a person employing your guys at 12 per hour and being happy doing that isn't enough
so are we clear that if TPS entrants were 0, American taxpayers would be far better off over the lifetime of those entrants? that they are a burden?
keep in mind the exceptional ones among them can still try and enter through filtered channels so it's not like you lose out on all of them

american taxpayers will be much better off once we deport citizens of our own country, it’s going to make a very fruitful environment for commerce.
The fact is people like us are in charge and not crazy people like you. You can hate that but it won’t change the fact that you can’t deport or kill people based on your criteria.
it might surprise you that I am, in fact, not deporting nor killing anyone.
and yes your guys are in charge which is why you should own your choices instead of deflecting reality.
you decided the USA is rich enough to afford state charity to 300k Haitians and others through TPS.
admit it's charity and when other people say "well I don't think it's proper to do so much charity especially to non americans" accept that's not a fringe thing, rather a very normal conversation which should be had on the reality of state sponsored charity.
