It seems like there's a lot of conflict and unhappiness in the world these days. It gets me down. One of the few things
any tips on how to get rid of fleas?
I've googled and there is no consensus.

I use nexguard each dose is good for one month. Bravecto is one dose good for three months. But since my dog has no sides with nexguard I have just stuck with it.
But these are a game changer. The days of fleas ticks or anything like mange are over forever. You dog will be a walking death trap to any fleas in your house or anywhere.
In the house you could bomb them with those foggers. That is up to you if you are good with breathing what remains. Defintly wash and vaccum everything.
suckers walk
money talks
but you can't touch my two long socks

On a feline. I took Monty to vet last Monday because he was acting up. I figured he was dying. Diagnosis was fleas. They gave him the drop between shoulder blades but it hasn't improved (and I'm not guessing here, I see the fleas on him). I will get a flea or two on me after showering.

I think I'm going to buy the foggers tomorrow. I did it once like 15 years ago and they worked. I guess the cat and I will chill in the garage for a few hours.
I'll also call the vet tomorrow first.

Nexgard is what I use with my two dogs also. I don't recall seeing a flea on them or in the house in the 5 years the dogs have been here. I have found a few ticks on me, but I probably pick them up directly from the yard rather than from the dogs.
If you are just looking for flea treatments I think they have very cheap online vets now. For simple things like this. I wouldnt use one if my pet was sick, but this is simple.
my cat in beijing wanted to be an outdoor cat, we had a ground floor apartment with a private door so we allowed it
each time he came back he was covered in fleas
flea baths wouldn't even get them all and they'd come back next time he went out
collar didn't do very much
squirting some frontline between his shoulder blades worked wonders but took a few days to start working
I use revolution plus on my cats.
kill fleas before they lay eggs, kill ticks for a full month, prevent heartworm disease and treat and control roundworms, hookworms and ear mites.
It's prescription, but I get it from Canada Pet Care for way cheaper than here and no scrip required.
One helluva doggie bidet!
Nice pics as always Red.
On the flea front, years ago the gold dog got a batch from the straw I put in the outdoor house. Bombing and cleaning took care of the house. Can't remember what treatment I used for her.
looks like quite a serious pair.
lol
people without animals are living an incomplete life
Serious pic of dogs had to involve a treat hidden behind the camera
