To reiterate some of the points:

5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

That would be a Zionist project, except it would relate to great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandparents, assuming approx 3 generations per century, the classical measure.
I am not making any moral argument Israel should have happened.
But it did happen long before any of us were born, and it is there now, and no one is "going back to Poland." And no one living in Gaza is returning to the olive farm their great great grandfather owned, which is probably a parking garage right now anyways.
So the current Palestinian culture calling for all these things is extremely counterproductive, futile and nihilistic; and the West should stop enabling it.
I dont know how true this is, or how impactful it will be even if true. But Israel media is reporting up to $1.5 billion in hard currency and 2000 lbs of gold were destroyed in Israel attacks on Hezbollah bunkers in Beirut.
Regardless, looks like the people of Iran are going to need to tighten their bootstraps and work double time to make Hezbollah liquid again.

I’ve deleted the entire discussion that was spawned from mongidig’s comment that said he understands why people don’t like Jews.
I understand there are going to be people itt saying oh he didn’t mean it that way, and yes, I get that.
It’s still not at all okay, and Mongidig will have a 3 day vacation to think about why that is. Careless posting can still be harmful posting, and those posts will be moderated.

The fighting on both sides is evil because at times, both sides justify what they are doing (or supporting), at least partially, by invoking the idea that they are pleasing an entity that has as much chance of existing in their specific flavor as the people supposedly staged the assassination attempt at trump's behest (or ordered it at the behest of the Secret Service).

Hamas takes control of pretty much every aid truck. And then they sell the aid on the black market to fund their war machine.
Gaza is a uniquely dense area. Many of these "journalists" were helping Hamas.
Let me guess, Al Jazeera has lost the most people.
Actually, most of them are independent "journalists" who do very little journalism, if any. And some significant % are active members of militant groups such as Hamas and AJ, who just disguise themselves as journalists to move freely.

Aid truck entry: Yesterday, 156 trucks carrying humanitarian goods were transferred to Gaza, 116 through the Kerem Shalom Crossing and 40 via the Erez Crossing.
Aid Collection:Yesterday, 82 trucks were collected from the Gazan side of Kerem Shalom, 58 by the private sector, and only 24 by NGOs and UN aid agencies. Approx. 450 trucks worth of aid are waiting for collection.
Fuel:6 gas tankers and 3 fuel tankers designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza, entered Gaza yesterday.
Jordanian Route: 24 aid trucks and 3 fuel tankers were coordinated via the Jordanian route yesterday.
Route 96:26 aid trucks were coordinated via Route 96 yesterday.
Medical Transfers:To date, 3,857 patients and 1,599 escorts have received transfers for medical aid out of Gaza.
Local tactical pause: Today, (October 1) between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Tzovach neighborhood in Khan Yunis to enable the movement of humanitarian aid.

I think what's going on here is that WFP put out a statement saying that no crossings are coming from the North, and CNN is running with this saying that there has been no aid allowed into Gaza whatsoever, which is just blatantly false. Of course, I know the response is going to be "oh well obviously this data is fabricated". But, the COGAT data shows that what the UN is saying about September being the lowest for food aid in 7 months is accurate. So you can't just pick and choose what data to accept from COGAT.

this is the so-called General's Plan that was released about a month ago. I linked to it then, with the actual General describing it. if it is being leaked to BBC then you can be pretty sure that it is in full effect and certainly much worse than Western outlets are reporting.

Has UNIFIL made any statements about why it has not accomplished any of its mandated obligations over the last 18+ years? Including the last 11 months when they have watched Hezbollah shoot thousands of rockets and drones into Israel from territory they are mandated to keep Hezbollah out of?
And why they insist on remaining in place doing nothing while Israel and Hezbollah are fighting, where they serve no purpose other than being human shields for Hezbollah?
I mean, clearly UNIFIL and Hezbollah have some agreement where UNIFIL does nothing to impede Hezbollah, and Hezbollah allows them to remain and play soldier. But once the real fighting starts, play time is over, and it is time for UNIFIL to leave. They are the soldiers of summer, and it is winter now.
