Look at the current and historical regimes that Victor admires. For the most part, they are not democracies. I don't think that democracy is very high on Victor's list of political priorities.

I like Biden’s economy. He made my 401k go up. He got infrastructure passed. He handled inflation better than any other G7 country. He brought manufacturing jobs back to the US. He got broad climate change policy done without sacrificing economic growth.
At least Victor has a semi-substantive critique of Biden based on his record on Israel and Ukraine I presume (which I completely disagree on substance but nonetheless). This sort of “Bidenomics” criticism is truly braindead.

I don’t pay double for everything lol. I never went out to eat that much, mostly cook at home, my rent prices are stabilized (thanks Demonrats!), and gas prices are lower than they were a year ago.
Inflation is not uniform throughout the country, us in big cities haven’t been hit that hard.

Two things: the whole world experienced inflation, and inflation is not the only measure of how an economy is doing. Also if we're talking about inflation, it has been restored to normal levels under Biden's leadership faster than the rest of the world.

Unemployment is not really an issue but inflation is high so let's add across the board tariffs on imports is pretty dumb even by Trumper standards. It's a good thing it's a madr up problem for the most part like immigration, in which Trump supporters can just claim it's better if he wins even if nothing changes or it gets worse.

The easiest way to point out how disingenuous these arguments are from that side is just to look at how they will claim it's not fair to hold Trump accountable for things that covid caused compared to how viciously they hold Biden accountable for things covid caused.
Of course, they also completely ignore that gas prices rising was caused directly by Trump's 2 year deal with OPEC to cut production. This had a major hand in worldwide inflation. They for some reason blame that on Biden, too.
It's just not worth talking to people that are that intellectually dishonest and/or ignorant of reality.
