This is great. I love Susanna Hoffs voice (and... the rest of her isn't bad either...) but never heard this before.

I still prefer Tracey Ullmans cover of this song, but there's also 40ish years of nostagia attached to that one so it's hard to replace.

A number of years ago in a music draft I chose this one. Dominic was rather stunned. Check out the entire Carpenters tribute album.

That's an interesting concept. Not sure what his reasons were for disowning it, but I can imagine questioning the choice of adding a layer of music to someone else's poems.
