New fast food discussion/review thread
OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.

i wonder how many nugs each patty is equivalent to? I'd guess 3.5.
I'd say 4 mcnuggets = size of 1 patty. basically cuz the nuggets have shrunk in the last 10 years.
The CBM is pretty good but after the first few bites it goes down in rating and becomes a chore to finish.

The bell with some sort of chicken tender taco. Confusing.
Does anybody else heat up they're fast food in a pan with a little oil?
Just ate one of the best tasting chicken sandwiches (the new big mac chicken) heated up this way, I've ever had.
Been doing this with Nuggets/Fries past few months and it's beyond worth it... it tastes better than fresh.
If doing a sandwhich item just take burger or chicken out of sandwhich and fry. (Obviously)

I used to do that before I got an air fryer.
For me that would defeat the purpose of "fast food".
old man complaining time: Went to chipotle. Instead of filling orders, two goofballs mopped the floors while there were 6 ppl in line and 3 waiting for mobile orders. one lady making food.
about 5 minutes after my order was due, the mop boys sprung to action and started making burritos. 5 minutes later I got my burrito.
the day after, I'm rather constipated. Chipotle may be dead to me again!

I had planned on going to Chipotle today to try out the new smoked brisket. I had a feeling it would be underwhelming and the allure of free chips and guac didnt sway me.
So I happened upon a Raising Cane’s and decided I’d eat that… for the first time!
With the thread recommendation I got a 4 finger combo and subbed the texas toast for another caniac sauce. Which was a very unique sauce in itself.
4 chicken fingers
Fries
Cole slaw
2 sauces
I got full but not overly full and it was an enjoyable meal. The chicken fingers were of very good quality and cooked just right. Next time I’ll probably try out the texas toast though unless I’m advised against doing so itt.
Overall McMuffin rating 8.52/10
smh. You gave up the Texas toast!?!?!
I can see giving up the coleslaw but the toast? That's wrong.
Yeah, the Texas Toast is a must for me at Cane's.
Really everything about a Cane's meal is great except maybe the fries which are just ok.
Taco Bell just did the 2pm (pdt) Drop. Today it was get one of 8 popular items for $1. So I grabbed a Burrito supreme. I use to get them all the time in the "old" days. Now, they are just terrible value. Unless I guess as part of a value box.
This is what I got:

I've seen better value menu based 5 layer burritos.
I saw the news today. I'm predicting some good McDonald's deals in my future...
anyone remember the last time taco bell wrangled up seven layer burritos?
same for my 'sort of veggie' hippie friends
bet they'd try to charge at least three buck fifty for one these days
I got a free guac as part of the order in my last post.
I'm indifferent to avocado, but tasting it, I'd much rather have salsa. Is chipotle guac anything to write home about?
I couldnt detect any onion, lime,. Never had avocado toast.
I'm basically waiting for mcrib season.
chipotle guac is elite
On a positive note, I loved my raising cane experiences. So so good!
