*** October 2024 High Stakes Thread ***

Hello and welcome to the arena!

Previous High Stakes thread: *** September 2024 High Stakes Thread **...

: : :

We generally post ~200bb+ pots, but if there's an interesting hand/showdown, or if there's not much action feel free to post smaller ones.

Posting hands

How to post CoinPoker hands:

Click on hand #number in replayer.

Copy text and remove ante part of first row in hh:
Poker Hand #72306164: Omaha Pot Limit (200/400 ante 80) 2023/04/12 15:51:58 GMT
Add - after parenthesis. Line should read:
Poker Hand #72306164: Omaha Pot Limit (200/400) - 2023/04/12 15:51:58 GMT
This works until someone has a 7 figure stack, then you need to edit any number over one mega.

paste hh https://pokeit.co/convert/

The converted hand will say it's from GG, you may edit this too.

For the OCD inclined, search and replace § with $.

Post your nice hand here!

:

Please use the following options for converting hands:

Converter from Pokeit https://pokeit.co/convert/ with wide variety of supported games, multiple hand conversion, etc.

Another converter: http://www.railhand.com

Just paste your hand history, convert, copy generated code and paste in this thread.

If you want to post 2-7 TD hands: http://www.feralcowpoker.com.

Set it to "Two Plus Two - textonly" output, and show results and player names.

had to include the "10" for conservative guesstimations 😃

And also cuz HS PLO has not been as action heavy compared to say the HSNLHE action on GG, unfortunately

Why sit the 4max tables ??? I would never think to join a 4m tbh as the likelihood it would be me, you, scout, and one of the rollz accounts which would be no bueno. Way more likely to fire a rattyhole as the chance some other spot would sit is greater.

You dont give off bunhunter vibes if i may say so myself, you def deserve a spot in some sort of Top 5-10 6max PLO power rankings 😃

Put some respect on his name, lol. It's not a well kept secret that grazvis have been #1 in plo for like what, 8 years or so

I dont know how to be more respectful than saying he deserves to be in the top 5-10 PLO rankings 😃

Although #1 I think might be reserved for Berri if we are talking HUPLO.

For 6max i think Omaha4rollz takes the number 1 spot, followed by Grazv for sure.

Venividi has been doing really well this year as well. He recently completed a $1 million challenge. His twitter account has more details on it and includes graphs and stats. He definitely deserves some recognition for being able to not only pick himself back up after the Galfond challenge but recouping the losses and then winning a cool extra $1.1 million + and then also donating a percent of those winnings to charity

Venividi ain't no Heavyweight.

shots fired!

by Bondurant k

if you mean EEE27, yes he can come play 3 handed with us and we can keep it going for a while.

What do you think about Linus PLO game both HU and 3 handed +? I remember he played you guys on CP a while ago and run pretty bad.

When NL guys transition to PLO, my experience with them is pretty polarizing, they are either slow to catch up and make obvious "non PLO mistakes" and hold no heat, or they bring all the heat and you know you need to level up and learn a few things because you playing someone smart. Linus is in 2nd category in PLO for sure, idk NL.

Grazvy can we get a top 5 or 10 PLO players at the moment or no?

by The Standard Station k

This is top tier advice. Maybe I missed this but are you still playing at all or retired?

WPN plo was great for a few yrs, if it ever picked up again would you fire?

bro... top tier advice is a little exagerated haha

it's like the most basic of basic stuff, don't play exploitable until you have a reason to exploit, at least try not to

Bondurant, I met your friend Daniel the Swede in South Africa, I wish you were still around then. I would have been so stoked to meet you there. Heard some inspiring anecdotes.

We saw many players transitioning from NL to PLO, such as: Melhui, O konstantin, makeboifin, Pass_72, but the same does not happen with PLO to NL, do you have any idea why? Even Flyingllama and btnclicker which are HU Regs. Btw I heard Pass_72 is a very strong player, some say he would be among the Top 05.

Why would I switch to a game that has no fish

Why would I switch to a game that has no fish

makes sense

Make it top 12 so lightweight regs like EE and Venividi have any chance.

Why you gotta come in here and be a prick lol

Funny that an Ignacio Moron hand showed up. Was just gonna ask about what happened to him! Thought he had taken a prolonged break or moved down in stakes or something.

He doesn't seem to have done too well over the past two years. -$2.2M over 325k tracked hands, making him one of the biggest losers, along with the VIP whales.

Ask Xenoblade what is not a "basic of basic" gto advice 😃

I want to watch him explaining it.

by ProffesionalMalaka k

I still think EEE is top 10, just definitely not the best at cash games. But he's the 2nd best PLO tournament player imo
