There is no genocide happening but a small portion of potential Harris voters believe there is, and they might end up not voting for her because they think she is part of the machine that allows that genocide to happen, so i think the topic is relevant for the elections.

yes and a much larger portion of voters would ditch the democratic party and it would be a trump landslide if they stopped supporting Israel. Look at what happened to the Justice Dems imploding after trying to make Israel their top issue.
My only hope is that if they make us lose the election that Trump actually follows through on his proposal to deport Hamas supporters like victor. Although it would be sad to see him follow through on his plan to deport millions of people which I’m guessing victor is ok with.

Honestly I don’t have any real problems if Trump wins. I’m a cis white male who has a lot of stock market investments. Even if Trump ends up installing himself as dictator and deporting a bunch of nonwhite people I’ll be completely fine.
It’s really more the people in my life that I care about that motivates me to vote against him, as well as my general love for this country and its ideals which I think Trump stands completely against.
But as far as utilitarian consequences? The suffering will mostly be felt by other people, not me.
