Do you deny that Donald Trump demanded that Mike Pence certify a false slate of electors or send it back to the states for them to certify a false slate of electors? When he said “Mike Pence should do the right thing”, what was he asking Mike Pence to do?
And as the insurrectionists were breaking into the capitol building, why did Trump wait 3 hours before he asked his people to go home, and why did they go home as soon as he asked?

For me it should be completely obvious that voting for someone who didn't commit to a peaceful transfer of power should be out of the equation in the blink of an eye.
The only rationale I think I would understand would be "both USA and the rest of the world were in a better spot with Trump as president", but even then a non-peaceful transfer of power should be enough to deem him as an agent of erosion to democracy.
I think if someone follows the rationale I described they may as well vote for literally anyone, regardless of what they did/think.
