I would call it what it is because that’s against the rule of this thread but I will call it disgusting

click translate on about 80% of Hebrew language Israeli twitter and you see far worse crap so spare me the santimony while most of Israeli cheers on what will be the greatest crime of our lifetimes.

The translation has Bibi saying "have" which the tweet falsely quotes as "own", so that's bad. The rest of it seems to match and it's clear he's boasting of how much influence Israel had over the US.

were any warnings sent out to the people who repost Visegrad, Brianna Wu, and that account that Dun always posts with the lion on it? all are extremely hateful and post blatant misinformation.

even Barak Ravid has posted some insanely hateful things at one point likening truck hijackers to "Africans" or maybe it was Somalis...cant remember exactly.

Warnings were sent to both “sides”. I don’t know why you guys can’t comprehend that I have ethics. That’s how I manage to be accused of bias by literally everyone across the political spectrum.

I agree it’s a nitpick, but it’s for good reason. Anti-zionists in the vein of Victor (not all of them, just the zealous ones) always exaggerate how badly the Palestinian have it and almost never hold any other country in the Middle East or elsewhere to the same standards. He wants to make it seem like we’re witnessing the holocaust instead of a disastrous war that Hamas started. He also wants to pretend that this is the worst war ever and no one has ever been as depraved as Israel. So saying it’s nitpicky is correct, but it’s a pretty big point in the grand scheme of things.

For one thing, I don’t even accept that this is a genocide or that war crimes are being committed at an especially high rate. There are certainly war crimes, as in every war, but Israel does a much better job at minimizing them than other countries in the region.

I don't think so. I think there was a point a long time ago where it was actually fair to say they did, but not any more. In like 2014 or so, the snipers shooting people in the legs was just off the charts awful and what it happening now I don't think is exactly intentional the way some describe it (though there are enough statements by enough high ranking officials to make it very easy to think it is), but it's wildly indiscriminate. You give a warning that you're going to blow up one building and let that clear out and that's one thing. Bombing it may very well still be bad, but it's not the same as declaring significant regions as fair game and expecting tens or hundreds of thousands of people to evacuate. The numbers make it clear and the tonnage of ordinance dropped and number of targets hit actually is up there in the destruction list globally in our lifetimes, especially considering the relatively small areas, population and time frame invovled.

This is a motte and bailey fallacy. Your claim is that it’s the worst genocide of our lifetimes, when it’s just not. Secondly, perhaps Hamas shouldn’t have started the war and perhaps they should surrender the hostages. That seems smart.

It's not even the worst genocide of 2024 (because it's not a genocide at all)
