Edit: RULES FOR THIS THREAD

2+2 Rules

Posting guidelines for Politics and Soci...

These are our baselines. We're not reinventing the wheel here. If you aren't sure if something is acceptable to post, its better to ask first. If you think someone is posting something that violates the above guidelines, please report it or PM me rather than responding in kind.

To reiterate some of the points:

1. No personal attacks. This is a broad instruction, but, in general, we want to focus on attacking an argument rather than the poster making it. It is fine to say a post is antisemitic; it is not okay to call someone an antisemite over and over. If you believe someone is making antisemitic posts, report them or PM me. The same goes for calling people "baby killers" and "genocide lovers". You are allowed to argue that an action supports genocide or that the consequences of certain policies results in the death of children, but we are no longer going to be speaking to one another's intentions. It is not productive to the conversation and doesn't further any debate.

2. Racist posts and other bigoted statements that target a particular group or individuals of such groups with derogatory comments are not allowed. This should not need further explanation.

3. Graphic Images need to be in spoilers with a trigger warning.

4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.

5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.

If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

Please be aware this thread is strictly moderated
Trump is probably more likely to make peace

by jalfrezi k

It's not privilege, obviously - it's because the apartheid state of Israel doesn't trust its own Arab citizens with weapons.

Exactly. That’s why they’re not allowed to join the IDF.

they actually are

pretty crazy video. not really graphic, just an explosion but sure looks like soldiers got hit. I dont understand why they were raising the flag at this building or what the flag meant.

they actually are

it’s sarcasm

I wouldn't argue with less likely. But that doesn't make it microscopic.

I don't discount Harris because of the past. I think that's a minor case of the huge fallacy we see a lot in this thread. It's rarely the pure who make peace

It's not a fallacy. It's an assessment that a lazy-arse bloviating golfing do-nothing, whose only motivations are staying out of jail and making money, is less likely to inflame international conflicts than a super aggro ex-prosecutor/cop with a lot to prove.

Did you learn nothing from Trump's first term?

by campfirewest k

Jesus, what's wrong with you?

Since last year, 16700+ children have been killed and 20000+ are missing. What's wrong with you that words and images are more offensive than this?

by Victor k

Trump is probably more likely to make peace

sad! but true

his twitter feed has wound him up to the point where idf soldiers are not human

I'm shocked that nothing has changed!

I heard a speaker live yesterday from honestreporting yesterday. He spoke about how they have been able to get 4 cnn, 3 not, and 1 wapo reporter fired in the past 6 months for supporting hamas and terrorism

It's beyond sad the drivel thar is believed and spouted about Israel. The saddest part is Jaz probably believes what he writes

So it's important to correct the falsehoods. Even though he seems to be beyond reform and he will always hate Zionists, it's still important to correct the record for those that are not brainwashed by false media, educat, and or brainwashing

Here is an example

16000 to 40000 child terrorists in Hamas and Hezbollah.

i thought she was joking about emptying the asylums ..... jfc

by jalfrezi k

16000 to 40000 child terrorists in Hamas and Hezbollah.

vast majority of those "children" are 16-19 boys.

the rest is actual collateral damage being in buildings with terrorists. not their fault of course, but the terrorists fault.

if the terrorists cared about actual children, they would simply never make base anywhere near , you know, children.

and of course during a war on active duty as a combatant you don't stay with your family either.

What on earth did it have to tdo with trump.

We were talking about Harris.

So speaking of nothing having changed, let’s not immediately return to posting the same way that got you banned originally.

I have no problem just returning you to the abyss if you’re going to start calling people Jew haters again.

I said nothing of the sort but you do you

You were saying a Harris win would give more chance of peace in the Middle East than Trump. Keep up old chap.

by metsandfinsfan k

he will always hate Zionists

Every single poster reading what you wrote knew why you put "Zionists" in italics. You're fooling no one.

by metsandfinsfan k

I said nothing of the sort but you do you

We know what you mean when you say zionists that way, Mets.

I’m just letting you know it will take probably one more of those and I just send you away again for the complete inability to listen or change. Don’t piss away your unearned freebie.

by chezlaw k

Plus a tiny hope that Harris will win and see a peace process as a prime objective

by jalfrezi k

So tiny the most powerful electron microscope couldn't pick it up.

Prosecutor cop Harris is more likely to escalate than pursue peace.

It was never anyhting to do with trump. Victor brought trump into the conversation. Nothing to do with me.

"Plus a tiny hope that Harris will win..."

Who will she have defeated?

?

Plus a tiny hope that Harris will win and see a peace process as a prime objective

That'sa hope I have. Nothing about trump being any hope. Nothign to do with trump at all except that he has to lose for that tiny hope to have any chance

So you don't think Harris gives more chance of peace in the Middle East than Trump, you just want her to win regardless and cross fingers she doesn't invade Iran?
