Looks like he's the people's champion and damn sure the landslide counties' champion. What is the county score nationwide? When he said he could shoot somebody on 5th Avenue and not lose a vote, it was an understatement. He can rape, pillage, be a convicted felon, lead an insurrection against the country ... and gain in popularity.
It wasn't really a democracy anyway. It's kind of a plutocracy, corporatocracy, heading for a theocracy. I don't know what else.

Trump kept oil (and energy) prices lower than they otherwise would have been by massively deregulating the industry (and by making deals with the saudis), and that's deflationary.
He put some useless tariffs in place, but Biden kept them so the guilt is shared.
If you disagree with the 2020 massive stimulus, that was fully bipartisan so i guess you can share the blame there as well.
If you instead agree with normal macroeconomic 101, you agree when in deep recession stimulus is good and not particularly inflationary (2020) , while adding more when the economy is already recovering on it's own is super-inflationary (2021)

Or, the information sources you listened to dramatically ovestated the extent of Trump bad behavior, and he was the victim of a judicial coup attempt ("lawfare") and he didn't lead any insurrection, and many millions of americans wake up from the spell because information isn't bottlenecked by democratic party operatives anymore.
He is a convicted felon, for a made up felony accusation using a law that is never used that way by a democrat prosecutor, with a democrat judge misinforming the jury about complex matters.
He never led any insurrection, he never asked for people to riot on jan 6.

The 2020 stimulus was fully bipartisan (like 98 votes int he senate) and everyone agreed was needed. It was huge, unprecedented, but needed.
Then everyone had to reopen. Except democrat led states decided that they didn't want to reopen. So when Biden won in 2020 they passed ANOTHER, completly insane, fully unjustified stimulus which wouldn't have been required if states just had reopened, which caused massive inflation because it came while the economy was already snapping back into normality th

I mean my problem isn’t that they want it, it’s that they want it anyway anyhow when you and I know there are things that can happen that could be worse than climate change, like total societal collapse.
