Trump 2nd term prediction thread

Trump 2nd term prediction thread

So, looks like Trump not only smashed the electoral college, but is looking on track to win the popular vote, which seems to be an unexpected turn of events, but a clear sign of the current temperature in the country and perhaps the wider world.

Would be interested to hear views on how his 2nd term will pan out from both sides of the aisle - major happenings, what he's going to get done, what he's not going to get done, the impact of his election on the current conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, whether his popularity will remain the same, wane, or increase, etc.

A bit of an anemic OP, I know, just interested to hear people's thoughts now that the election uncertainty is over.

One thing that's for sure is the internet's flooded with "fact checkers" saying the opposite. Now why would they say the opposite if they're not trying to keep their agenda alive that global warmings gonna fry us all? If I said it once I said it a thousand times, if there are fact checks against something that's usually an indication that the fact checks are wrong.

PB the world is warming up because of human action.

You don't need to be a leftist to believe it.

Very basically, energy got trapped into fossil fuels across many millions of years.

Using it in a very short span of time creates an unbalance vs previous eras.

That is a way to look at it that doesn't look at serra effects and CO2 if you don't like that framing.

Fossil hydrocarbons are accumulated solar energy (through plant transformation) across geological eras. We are using a lot quickly, that warms the planet a bit.

Nothing insane in the claim.

Fact is that warming isnt as bad as the Marxist want you to believe, and the warming certainly doesn't justify giving up capitalism or changing our way of life.

We can cope with it fairly well and move toward using less fossil fuels and we will be fine. Nothing big.

I have no idea what this is doing posted on a .gov domain, but it's essentially a blog post by a guy called Mark Morano.

Marc Morano (born 1968)[1] is a former Republican political aide who founded and runs the website ClimateDepot.com.[2] ClimateDepot is a project of the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT), a US non-profit organisation that promotes climate change denial.[3]

What can I say, name checks out.

Or, you know, fact checkers might be saying the opposite because the internet is flooded with gullible simpletons like you re-posting bullshit non-stop, and now and then someone might actually want to find out if something is factual or invented (not something you care about, I know). I guess that's one theory, and your theory of "all the fact checkers are saying it's false because it's true" is another theory, and we just have no way of knowing which is the right theory, a bit like evolution vs. creationism. It's a poser.

Also, pro tip: saying something a thousand times doesn't make it true. A bit like, you know, the fact checkers, in your theory.

Lol, he doesn't even believe where fossil fuels come from, so good luck with that.

I know, I googled it already to make sure I wasn't walking into a trap or something. Imagine getting trapped by Playbig, now that would be embarrassing.

It's wild to verify your claims before making them. That's like cheating or something.

Is it a coincidence the 3 worst partisans people in here ( pb, bj,luciom) have such terrible understanding about science ?

I never claimed to be a scientist, and I'm far from being partisan (there's just as many if not more bought off and controlled DS plants in the republican party as there are on the left) but when, for example, we're in 2020 and undergoing a global pandemic emergency so big we've never experienced anything like it, why on earth wouldn't your "government" want every main stream doctor to put their heads together to get us out of it?

All the doctors that were coming forward saying "I do this for my patients and it seems to work great" or "I've been prescribing this which helped 89% of my patients recover in 3 days" but Dr. Fouchy and his conrads wanted nothing to do with that "false information" so they all got deplatformed and banned off the internet because it was their way or the high way. Gov't bureaucrats were the only ones allowed to call the shots back then. Does that sound at all logical to you?

Hydroxychloroquine is a perfect example. It was found to show some very promising results in the early stages of the pandemic that many main stream doctors were reporting but when the gov't found out, they said "Oh, no you can't use that, it's a very dangerous drug it could kill you!" and they outlawed it. Meanwhile it's been used for like 60 years with little side effects to treat malaria.

I feel because of internet , we have reach a point where you got the parents telling their kids this is bad , but the kids don’t believe them , they need to experience it themselves to believe it ….

Unfortunately there is problems that will create massive problems to all of us sadly .

So hard time ahead because the masses have reach a critical point of influence .

If you had, it would probably be one of your least fantastical claims. Imagine that.

Playbig the HCQ charade was disgusting from both sides.

The results were decent, the left denied reality and the right claimed it was a miracle drug against COVID.

It was neither, it was at most a small size improvement option, but it ended up fixing OTHER problems common in poor countries which is why in India it worked a lot better than in the first world.

It was a very funny event and a good discovery for the tiny slice of people left who can actually look at pragmatic real truth every time.

You can be part of that group as well but you need to understand that everything you CORRECTLY think about MSM being corrupted trash that helps the democrat is true as well of your sources that push whatever alt right bullshit is on trend

Warming planets should help with the plan to colonise Mars next year

Maybe the Martians dont want us considering we just ****ed up our planet and now want theirs.

"Fact checkers say I'm wrong, so I'm probably right" is a novel approach to epistemology. I now have a better understanding of how you arrive at your crackpot beliefs. I guess that's progress.

Musk is so stupid, he just revolutioned 4 different sectors of the economy then went all in on a political candidate that was on sale and bought 3 branches of government for himself in the most powerful country in the history of the world.

"Going back in time to kill Hitler" will slowly be replaced by "Going back in time to kill Trump".

Hey, that's not fair, you stole d2's joke!

However I'm curious to know you're opinion.

Do you believe we're the only intelligent life forms (the top dogs) in the universe that evolved here from a single cell that decided he wanted to grow arms, legs, etc., and do you think we eventually evolved from monkeys? I'm sincerely curious.

I, for one, am shocked that Playbig is a YEC, shocked, I tell you.

You've been telling me that for 4 years, and I have to say, I remain underwhelmed.

The odds of us being alone is as unlikely as us being a direct wish/creation of the sole almighty creator of the universe .

In other words, if we’ve been created by some kind of higher « power » , I would rather believe it’s more likely it was from alien before the creator of the universe .

But even more likely evolution is a good theory then not .

If u prefer we are about to go to mars .
Doesn’t seem crazy to think previous life forms , couple billions years ago , couldn’t have done the same thing somewhere .
No need for the creator of the universe for our existence if we can make it ourself eventually …

by Montrealcorp k

David sklansky isn’t a problem ….

Are you sure?

My prediction is he will be the first president removed from office. That could be due to either an internal coup via the 25A, or a successful impeachment and conviction.

I'd prefer the latter. But either way, no one does history books like Trump does.

Correct, with the trillions of galaxies out there for billions of years, our home planet seems like a preschool for infant babies (haven't you noticed). And imagine the technology they would have above ours, We've only invented the flashlight like 125 years ago.

So who created the aliens?

How mad would you be if, hypothetically of course, you were to learn that we've been to mars for decades already in secret, working with other races throughout the universe fighting against common enemies, etc., but your controllers wish to keep it a secret? Does the gov't have the right to keep these things from the public only so they can use the technology learned from them to further control and enslave us? Of course these are just hypothetical scenarios to think about.

PB that we made it to Mars 50 years ago would be very surprising, but not absurd.

That we kept going and coming back without that becoming known to the public is 0.001% probability.

But that alien races capable of reaching Mars from other solar system (and so a lot more advanced than us) aren't able to wipe us off, that is 0% probability.

It's impossible to think other races can travel light years like that, yet we are able to "fight them"

That's what I was thinking but what events would need to transpire to have the house impeach and the senate convict? Without a super majority in the senate they would need Democrat help and that would put them in an awfully weird position seeing that Vance is probably much worse than Trump in terms of being effective.

Didn't we wipe out the aliens in Independence Day with a Windows 95 virus or something? At least that's what I've been told, never saw the movie. The trailer made the movie an easy no. Our major cities being wiped out with apparently no effort and we end up winning? Um.... Nope.
