Trump 2nd term prediction thread
So, looks like Trump not only smashed the electoral college, but is looking on track to win the popular vote, which seems to be an unexpected turn of events, but a clear sign of the current temperature in the country and perhaps the wider world.
Would be interested to hear views on how his 2nd term will pan out from both sides of the aisle - major happenings, what he's going to get done, what he's not going to get done, the impact of his election on the current conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, whether his popularity will remain the same, wane, or increase, etc.
A bit of an anemic OP, I know, just interested to hear people's thoughts now that the election uncertainty is over.
If you don't think like me, and because of that you use the violence of the state when it is not necessary against me and everyone else, yes you are evil.
The problem is you see violence of the states where there isn’t to justify claiming evil to everything that lean left ….
Ie:: the U.S. is vastly more right then Europe and so now , from your pov , Europe is an extremely violent place towards their citizen with better and cheaper healthcare , education etc for their citizens then the U.S. can provide to their citizens ?
Gtfo …
Thank god he can move to Texas if he hates wearing a mask. He probably doesn’t care about abortion rights in California. Freeeeeeeeeeedumb to move to a non Marxist state should be exercised.
It is pretty funny that the family of our Italian fascist lives in the most liberal county in the most liberal state here. Allegedly.
Is this still a prediction threads I have another major prediction:
Resident byden just authorized Ukraine to use U.S. supplied missiles to shoot them into Russia. I predict we will be in world war 3 before inauguration Day. I predict major war is coming.
Breathe Free or Die!

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will not make anybody healthier
While improving our food system is a worthy goal,
Kennedy’s approach, which includes promoting raw milk consumption,
could expose Americans to increased risks from foodborne illnesses.
With Kennedy’s unscientific views guiding these decisions,
it could mean less reliable health information from government sources;
increased risk of infectious disease outbreaks in your community;
reduced access to proven medical treatments;
and higher health care costs due to ineffective policies.
America is swiftly moving into the find out phase.

Tariffs + mass deportation. Food's going to get real expensive. Guess if you remove regulations you can just start using sawdust and dirt as filler to keep prices low.

It's mind-boggling that many of the people that voted for him thought he was going to make things cheaper. Find out phase is going to come VERY quickly. Going to be hard to have much sympathy given how hard we worked to try to warn them.

He's already been in office for 4 years, why didn't all these things happen then?
Rightwing Twitter is publishing stuff about how purportedly 80% of the federal administrative workforce works from home, with most only having to show up at the office a few days per month.
Is that true?

Of course. Just like the COVID vaccine doesn’t save lives and instead causes otherwise healthy soccer players to drop dead in the middle of matches. These are Jesus-loving, God-fearing Christians for the most part. They’d never print it if it wasn’t true!

You can't compare expected inflation and the economy under trump vs some other random candidate. You have to compare how trump would do for inflation & the economy vs someone who wanted gov't price controls and to tax unrealized capital gains in a party that supports higher taxes across the board, wants to increase the incentive not too work among other entitlement programs and wants to continue to grow the size of gov't (as a % of GDP gov't spending has never been anywhere close to this outside times of world wars and depressions).
If you are voting for economic reasons this election was a no brainer and voters saw the same thing.

You're definitely right about the no-brainer part.

Why is blue 2, yellow 5, bha, bht, rbgh and rbst for example banned in the European union but not in the United States
