the russian bot farm doesn't want you to know this, but you can just get 7 whales in a group chat and go to a casino and ask to host a private game for them that you can freeze every reg out of. they'll even give you a table, cards, a dealer, and part of the rake.

praying is useless, talk to people about better options. poker isn't blackjack, make games fun and people will come to it.

I don't see WPT global going that far. Their software is not good. When you make the tables smaller you can't see anything. The numbers get too ****ing small and multi-tabling is uncomfortable (at least for me, and no, i'm not interested in buying a huge monitor. I can multitable on Stars and everything works fine and is visible.)

I still don't have any HH from my time playing there.

The ante+straddle games have some good whales but i still didn't enjoy the format. Too strange for online poker. I would happily play live with that structure, but not online. They should just offer normal tables without ante and straddle.

No rakeback sucks. GG at least gave me 15% rakeback(scam), in that matter they are worse than GG.

I don't think their AI system of labelling people is also helping the ecosystem that much. It needs be upgraded, i really disliked being tagged a pro.

This seems like a complete failure from GG. If I were a highstakes whale who wanted to play high stakes poker, and take a look at the GG lobby:

Scenario 1: I see the name of a well known pro like Linus Loeliger or Wiktor Malinowski (even if you dont know them, quick google search and its clear these are among the top players in the world), and I think "It would be cool to tell my business friends that I came out positive in a game of poker against the world's best, lets try"

Scenario 2: I see some nobody like Misha Inner or Elky sitting there, google their names and think "why would I play against some random russian or a has been Esports-player" then never consider playing at GG again.

I think that most recs just want to play regular holdem instead of squid games, and it seems like GG miscalculated when they thought that they just wanted to gamble it up with 72.

Don't disagree, just not sure who else is left since GG bought WSOP. Worldwide, the 2nd largest poker " brand" is WPT. (not talking just online) Stars clearly isn't going to do anything and GG is going to ruin the largest poker brand that exists (WSOP), who is going to step up ACR? lol
