My results of grinding 2NL 5NL 10NL 25NL 50NL 100NL
Hello everyone, I want to share with you my 20 days result with 50$ deposit on GGpoker
2NL was awful, after like 15k hand
NL10 is just the beginning, my plans are bigger than that
When you moving up pool is too large, some players are nitty but not all, you meet new players all the time, you play vs bots too yeah sad reality
When you have no notes on players and play vs different types there is no other strategy to just apply vs all of them except BALANCE
this is some good ****. Re. 2nd paragraph: I've been wondering what the heuristics are for whether it's a spot where strong value mixes or plays pure aggressive - in some spots it's not clear to me and I've seen both kinds of spots in solver. Want to start a study group?
Last 2 days im trying to read my strategy over and ever again, write it down, read, write it down, im trying my best to memorize it, i wasn’t good at memorizing things from the childhood so im kinda forcing myself to somehow accurately memorize it
Only played 1.5k hand at lower limit, felt like i missed bunch of my strategy but still i was winning like crazy so i really feel good with the future perspective
While I’m doing off-table work with my strategy, i found stream of HS crusher Daniil Vasilev, it’s mind boggling how he’s struggling to beat NL50 zoom on GG
“Does anybody beat 50 zoom?” Quote from his stream
This is all i needed to realize how hard is nowadays to climb from micros to high stakes
At micros first we need to beat mixed pool of nits and weirdos with not much information about them, if we beat micros and move to mid stakes we need to worry about bots and RTA + pool is hard etc etc if we are lucky to get close to high stakes we need to worry about seating scripts and how good tables are never available and when we finally get to high stakes GG removes it 😃
Anyway soon ill finish working with my strategy and gonna grind harder then ever
Climbing from micros to atleast midstakes isn't that challenging however grinding R&C or zoom against nits with horrid rake certainly isn't the best way to do it.
If GGPoker is your only option, atleast play regtables with good gameselection.
I don't know what your longterm goal in poker is, if you want waste time and be the best strategist in micro rush pools then go for it. But if you want to make money and climb the limits I recommend other alternatives to Nits & Cash

I have pretty nice plan, to mix online grind with live play
Online plan: ill use it as a training field and will be chasing HS dream, going to play daytime 4-5hrs
Live plan: going to play evenings 4-5hrs 1/3 5/5 games for constant monthly income without big swings
I think to play poker full time 9-10hrs a day is achievable and mixing online with live will be more fun
Live bankroll will be more than 5k$ depending on my crypto investment outcome, just waiting now, it’s booming atm bitcoin is at its historic peak prolly ill cashout in less then a month and start my live journey
Online i know GG zoom is hard but anyway i will beat it, im so desperate to do it already… forgive me for my confidence but ill do it
My new strategy its not for micros, its generally balanced strategy and definitely not aimed to beat micros, it’s aimed to beat any stake in my way, will see
I think i will start from the lowest and make challenges along the way, GG’s prop bet is fun, i just need adaptation period to get used to it, strategy is so complex maybe it will be better to play only 1 table to start from NL2
As with my new balanced strategy i came up with new avatar as well John Preston from Equilibrium movie, fits perfect and the fun starts
It’s not that serious, just a warm up with my new strategy, should take only few days, i just created mini challenge on GG +20$ in 4 days playing only NL2 zoom and there are already 2 non believers only if they knew im gonna play only 1 or 2 table just to practice my strategy 😃
I’ll finish this fast and gonna make NL5 challenge right after and then N10 etc
A proper start
Here i was expecting someone to go all in pre since its cash drop table and played little loose postflop
I wanted to bet 5.7 and missclicked to 57
Am I missing something or have you actually tried playing ABC poker? Play good hands, bet when you have something, don't bet / bluff when you've got nothing etc.
What a nice day
Allmost shocked that someone actually cares about redline playing micros instead of just beating the games and not caring about any other line than the ev one. And like the AKs hand calling it off otr when 550 draws hits and you basically beat what in the nittiest games possible is meh. Well your redline didn't die so good for you.

Redline is like cutting weight, quality matters, if you eat lets say chicken breast, cut carbs and train, you will get lean attractive figure but if you just lower calories and eat all the trash you will look like skinny fat, redline has its quality too, why solver is so powerful? we need to find answer in quality of the redline
What hand do you think was check-raise shoving the flop?
You hold A ♦ so it's not going to be nut flush draw hands. Maybe K ♦ Q ♦ otherwise villain's line stinks of sets.
I can’t fold there, SPR is like 3 so im happily stacking off, he can have KK AQ KQ bluffs of whatever but i made big enough 3bet pre to stack off there
This time (rare for this blog) I will have to be on OP side...
Opponent Min3B/Calls already indicates massive whale. Also these massive raises usually imho are more top pairs or fd rather then sets, I think because sets would not want to scare opponent.
I would snap with or without Ad.

Are you coming at this from the perspective of NL10, or whatever stakes you play?
Calling a 4bet and then massive check-raise jam stinks of sets in those games. QQ is a bit surprising but could easily see 22 / 77 showing up.

Played 10nl on GG one year ago, I know how bad and nitty the games were. It can be set ofc, but even if is set (9 combos), AQo is 6 combos, KK 6 combos. If you beat value most of the times its snap (here as well).
IMHO
Actually i was surprised V had QQ, usually they never have more than a TPTK or OP when they jam like that, weak players even jam weak pairs etc but very rarely they have a set, usually they raise with a set or even call to slowplay
