If the Palestinians hand over the hostages far less of them will be killed. Pretty simple.
The total number killed will be up to the terrorists. Any time they want to cry uncle and give it up, the killing will stop. The goal is not a number of people dead. The goal is creating a safe place for Jews to live and visit. Whatever that takes will determine the number dead.

This rhetoric, while effective for boomers who have already made up their mind on the issue and want some reason to believe that the Israeli state are the good guys, is a hilariously bad strategy to convince future generations of Americans to continue to fund the Israeli military.

The mission will be accomplished when they stop launching missiles and move back far enough to not being a threat. When the 80 thousand Israelis can come back to their homes in the north we can talk. It's funny how nobody talks about what they have been through in the last year plus. The decapitation of the leadership is just one step in the elimination of Hezbollah. There is still work to be done.

Hamas' ideology and their barbarism has been thoroughly highlighted itt. If by "people like you" you mean "normal people" then okay. Otherwise, not sure what you mean. They want to destroy Israel and as many Jews as possible. So again anyone regarding them as freedom fighters (despite them having self autonomy for almost two decades) has serious issues.
You also say revolutionary movements, with the implication of some form of nobility here. Khmer Rouge were a revolutionary movement and they were a bunch of psychos, so I'm not sure what your point is.
