So, looks like Trump not only smashed the electoral college, but is looking on track to win the popular vote, which seems to be an unexpected turn of events, but a clear sign of the current temperature in the country and perhaps the wider world.
Would be interested to hear views on how his 2nd term will pan out from both sides of the aisle - major happenings, what he's going to get done, what he's not going to get done, the impact of his election on the current conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, whether his popularity will remain the same, wane, or increase, etc.
A bit of an anemic OP, I know, just interested to hear people's thoughts now that the election uncertainty is over.

I think the SC adequately lays out how a right to have a medical procedure free of govt intervention or approval flows from a right to privacy and confidential communications with your spouse and doctor. Much better than your unsupported assertion.

He instantly accepted the median IQ of both had to be about the same when a basic argument was presented; ie it's hard to have populations so large ~.5 x total population with at least some random criteria and come close spanning the space of IQ not simply converge to the mean. I'm sure the President and his team knows more about him than we do, but what I do know is just because someone's working with or associated with a Soros, Bill Gates, Klaus schwab, the Bushes, Barack and Mike Obama, the FBI, the DOJ or the CIA, it doesn't necessarily mean they're all corrupt and conspiring with one another to form a one world gov't under their masterful control. Maybe it's a ploy to reel in more deep staters like they've been doing for the past 4 years (Space Force has the most advance surveillance technology out there. What Elon said about not being able to deliver equipment and supplies after the devastating flooding was 100% true. I know someone who lives next to Chimney Rock so I have first hand knowledge about how much the people there are upset with our federal gov't for leaving them out to dry (just like what happened in Maui).
FEMA is a hated agency by people who lost everything they owned, including their jobs, their car and shelter and they're still waiting for FEMA to help them. We're sending tens of billions of dollars regularly to Ukraine, but our own people are given $300 and told to join the waiting list.
What mayor butageige said to "fact check" Elon is nothing but a technicality.
Elon's helicopters carrying his Starlink system which was to provide emergency internet and phone service was physically blocked and his equipment was confiscated by FEMA.
The mayor, after Elon posted this publicly, tweeted to him that it was a NOTAM closing the airspace, and claiming "FEMA doesn't have the right to close the airpace, that's the FAA" which has absolutely nothing to do with the problem at hand.
A NOTAM (notice to airmen, not air missions) is a note that pilots rec've when planning a flight or listening to ATIS which included information about TFR's (closed airspace). All the mayor did was say FEMA can't close the airspace, but FEMA was confiscating equipment which goes way beyond "a TFR in the area per the NOTAM". Even if you purposely violate a TFR you're tail number gets reported and they'll have a phone number for you at the next center you check in with. They don't confiscate everything on board. The posts in the video were taken out of context to make it look like Elon got fact checked.
