I don't mind it as some structures are getting worse and worse. The other day I FTd one of the $55 Loncarr dailies and the FT avg stack was somewhere around 12-14bbs 🥲

What is happening at ACR? Wasn't having any lag or delays but they paused all tourneys..usually only see this when obvious technical issues like half table sitting out on all tables or people being unable to connect but i didn't notice anything? What's going on?

Great, was top 3 in chips in both my biggest buy ins which I multi step satelited into both and can't afford to buy in directly, but busted a bunch of bullets in route 66 and mystery bounty flights that won't be comped because late reg over lmao what a **** day fml probably like thousands of dollars in EV in the high roller and $215 PKO. At least won 2 bounties. Sigh. I mean I guess it basically just gives me the cash instead of the satty ticket but I wanted to play.

Why did ACR do this? There were no issues as far as I could see. Were they failing to reach their guarantees so they nuked it or something? Happened on Xmas eve

No cash games either. Their server probably **** itself or something

All tourneys were borked after sw update. New levels weren't being announced so BBview wasn't working correctly, to fix people using BBview had to close and reopen table for it to properly register a new blind level.

I played some cash games after this update.
They have restored the ability to see the names of the players at the table without having to be seated or use the "see name players but can't sit at that table for xxx hours" option.

Bbview meaning having tables in bbs instead of chips? Because I did notice some of them saying like .75/1.5bb for sb/bb which made no sense but that was the extent of it

After the software update, I could log on. Came back to play, was logged off, and now I keep getting a "connection to our server has been interrupted, please check your network, click OK to reconnect" (clicking OK doesn't do anything). Anyone else having this issue? I figure their server is down but not seeing any similar issues but this is happening within the past hour I believe. I'll probably just wait to see if it resolves itself.

Cool, I feel less... alone. 😉 I will wait it out. Oddly enough, I withdrew some last night, kinda wanted to withdraw more, felt like site might go down. I did keep getting random errors at tables in between hands so maybe they're trying to fix that (or that problem grew and took it down completely today).

I'm a fan of it, they should do hands per blind like GG does too.

They completely ruined those tournaments. The structure is so freaking bad when you get down to the end .

I am wondering if that feature was causing issues. I was always getting network "connection errors" in between hands (even though other tables were actively in a hand and working just fine). I thought to myself earlier, maybe it's constantly checking that you're still actively playing at a table and didn't leave, and was somehow slowing things down or causing interruptions like the popups I saw... maybe unrelated... but I didn't get any such popups tonight (maybe one time but that was it, and a different error message).

I actually kinda liked it, I think... I dunno. Makes it harder for anglers to seat pick effectively. But feels normal now without it. I was reading about their reshuffle feature in Omaha games too where they only deal your hand when action is on you, so that discarded hands can't be used to collude since the information is not valid about a hand being folded (those cards can still get dealt)... I had actually never thought of that possibility, and it seemed like a good measure. (would slow down holdem games though if they did that, being unable to fold in advance)

ACR is weird in that I love it, but then I see all these horror stories so I'm always very wary of playing there, haha....

yea kept getting disconnected from my tables and having to re-login to the client the past week, didn’t get that issue after new update

Do you know if it can be problematic if I play WPN with a chico converter opened? Anybody is mixing this sites and playing with this software for chico?

I ask because WPN is very good at randomly banning and I want to avoid problems

American players are desperate. The ROW that can play else where I couldn’t give you a legitimate answer. This includes the ROW MTT players that multisite.

For me, I find it's fun to play with a mix of players who actually know how to play well enough that proper play on my part gets rewarded. It gets old folding two pair and overpair on local sites to the supposed "soft field" who never call you down unless they hit their miracle two or three outer.

Next, when it works, the software is quite good. Tables feel slick, they have a lot of built in betting controls and multi table management. I wish they had a built in feature to manage different grid layouts though instead of just the stack and tile methodology of having a queue stack and then active playing slots. Cool that they do that natively but would love to just have a few grids saved instead. Love the built in customization of sound effects for every possible action too.

From what I've seen by some Euro players, the GG experience is tainted by complete lack of rakeback no? So I imagine that's a big factor.

just out of curiosity, I happened to see players without the country next to the nick. it's a rare thing but I've seen at least 3 of them in 2024 at cash game tables. you can only see the nick.
how is this possible? When you register, don't you have to fill out a form with all the information including your country?

GG/PS/Party are superior to any site that services American players in terms of game selection. Thats more important than RB. Some RoW players that play on ACR are players that want to use PT/HM/H2N that don’t like PokerStars (for whatever reason).

You have to remember RB is great and all, but most players overestimate how much volume they will ever truly do to earn any relevant RB.
