ex-President Trump

I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at

2020 vs 2016 almost no one changed to Biden from Trump.

This is just wrong. The middle voters that voted for Trump and saw that all he did was troll on Twitter, golf, and show not a modicum of empathy for 4000 people dying a day, combined with bragging about his Covid pressers were more popular than The Bachelor, caused them to not re-elect Trump. Lay off the crack, boyo.

Well, he did Joe Rogan for one. That was an extremely smart move. His use of fringe rather than mainstream media paid off big time. As Van Jones said he completely bypassed the MSM and largely made them irrelevant. There was also less opportunity for democrats to cheat this time as well, so that probably made a difference. And there was covid which emerged under his watch in 2020, so people blamed him for that.

Hope that's specific enough for you, sparky.

"hE wEnT oN rOgAn aNd tHe dEmOnCrAtS cOuLdn'T cHeAt tHiS tImE!"

Sure, sparky.

Trump's just smarter than the democrats and the media. That's what it boils down to. Unfortunately for losers like you that's a bitter pill to swallow.

This quote from the tweet I posted kind of sums it up.

"Geniuses learn from other's mistakes.
Normal people learn from their own mistakes.
Idiots do not learn from their own mistakes.
The Democrat party and mainstream media are run by idiots, by definition."

Trump definitely falls under the, "Idiots do not learn from their own mistakes" umbrella, as does everyone who voted for him in 2024 after voting for him in 2016.

Sorry, but I'm not fluent in gibberish.

Maybe get someone to translate your posts into readable English before you post them. That might help.

Hence functional illiterate .
You can’t grasp ideas.

Don't get too bitter dude. It's not good for you.

Look on the bright side. You could have had cackling Kamela spraying nonsensical word salads for four years while the country goes down the toilet.

Just be thankful for small mercies.

Yes, you are. You write it incessantly.

I think while Kamala would have been bad, it's going to be an absolute cluster**** with Trump at the helm. Source: Trump's first presidency.

Makes me lol when someone points out x democrat for word salad when Trump has been the word saladiest word salader in the past 8 years.

It should be self-explanatory to any non-moron.

Explain it. Or are you incapable?

Patrick Thomas Egan, 39, was arrested Dec. 18 in Grand Junction, Colorado, after police say he followed KKCO/KJCT reporter Ja’Ronn Alex’s vehicle for around 40 miles (64 kilometers) from the Delta area. Alex told police that he believed he had been followed and attacked because he is Pacific Islander.

After arriving in Grand Junction, Egan, who was driving a taxi, pulled up next to Alex at a stoplight and, according to an arrest affidavit, said something to the effect of: “Are you even a U.S. citizen? This is Trump’s America now! I’m a Marine and I took an oath to protect this country from people like you!”

Alex, who had been out reporting, then drove back to his news station in the city. After he got out of his vehicle, Egan chased Alex as he ran toward the station’s door and demanded to see his identification, according to the document laying out police’s evidence in the case. Egan then tackled Alex, put him in a headlock and “began to strangle him,” the affidavit said.

Coworkers who ran out to help and witnesses told police that Alex appeared to be losing his ability to breathe during the attack, which was partially captured on surveillance video, according to the document.

There is a video on line of a DEA and ATF drunk in a bar in Hinkley Ohio who assaulted a truck driver using the same reasoning.

Lol. So true.

Today we can celebrate the renaming of this thread to President Trump and Company.

Does anyone know if Canadian presidents are required to be naturally born citizens?

Canada doesn't have a president, it has the king (or queen) of England as it's head of state.

The head of government is the prime minister and he can be foreign born

Sounds like you're alil butt hurt that Trump won but hopefully you'll get over it eventually. It's not all about "Trump", I never said that. He's just a face in the war against the handlers of the people you've been voting for (I know you probably don't understand what that means but it's ok).

President Trump today again threatened heavy tariffs on Canada and also said he's changing the name of The Gulf of Mexico to The Gulf of America

Do you support heavy tariffs in general?

I don't have enough info on it to make a determination one way or the other.

Lol I think it's the other way around between you, a corrupt administration and their controlled mockingburd media ainec.

So you're indifferent on one of Trump's biggest campaign promises that could negatively impact individual citizens' lives?

by biggerboat k

If trump tells him to.....

He doesn't even go that far. It's a sport to him and so long as his team wins, the repercussions are irrelevant.

by Land O Lakes k

I am no fan of tariffs, but keep in mind the other option included higher taxes on individuals, higher taxes on corporations, higher gov't spending and gov't price controls. I think an argument can be made that all of those things are worse than tariffs depending on the rates and how broad the tariffs are as well as the scope and rates of those other 4 things kamala was promoting.

the other option included insane tariffs as well lol.

Biden introduced tariffs up to 500% for foreign mattresses.

100% on Chinese electric cars.

all increases in taxes are morally indefensible since the state already takes in a lot more than it should, and trump tariffs proposals are morally indefensible but democrats want far more taxes than republicans do they are objectively worse in that regard (as for almost everything else)
