**** 2024 Season-Long NFL PEEHS! ****
Hello again, football fans!
It’s that time of year again! The premier, flagship contest of SE, Season-Long NFL PEEHS, is returning for its 12th season, the second under my stewardship. When Kris ran this contest, I always appreciated how much fun it was, and how it brought this diverse little community of football fans together. With his blessing, I’ll be running it again, for hopefully the best installment yet!
But I may need help. I work, and it’s a long season through the holidays, and I know I won’t be available for the Thanksgiving reveals. I’d like for last year’s go-to guest revealer Rawlz517 to be able to step in, if he’s available, or I’ll take any volunteers if he’s not. If schedules change, we’ll play it by ear.
I’ve never played PEEHS before, what is it?
PEEHS is basically a fun, free NFL football futures contest. You make an entry by giving answers to the 25 questions before the season starts, and I reveal the answers once a week as the season goes along. For every question, your answer will either be CORRECT, or INCORRECT.
If your answer is CORRECT, your score for that question will simply be the number of people who selected your same correct answer. If you’re the only person to select your correct answer, that’s an ACE! …and your score for that question is 1.
If your answer is INCORRECT, then your score for that question is the number of people who picked the SHEEP answer (most popular answer), plus the number of different correct answers submitted for that question. The SHEEP (most popular answer) can be either correct or incorrect; all that matters is the number of people who selected the SHEEP.
Therefore it’s most important to be CORRECT in all your answers, but also be among the fewest participants that select your correct answers.
Scores add up per question over the season. Lowest score wins.
Our reigning 2023 Champion is pwnsall!
How do I enter?
Anyone can enter by sending me a single-spaced, non-numbered PM with your answers. Please correctly spell first AND last names for player names, and just use mascots for team names.
Since we get questions on this every year...

Good luck and let us football!!!
Damn I'd eb sitting pretty if that guy whose name I don't recognise could've just banged out 41 more yards
Thanks for the reveals!
The WR reveal is gonna give me a sad.
I think the Bo Nix pick is more face melty than the Mike Evans rushing for 1000 yards pick, well played.
I'm coming for your wooden spoon Needle!
Who's here? It's time for the Question 20 Reveal!
20. Name a RB/WR/TE with 1,000+ receiving yards
For this question, we had 22 correct answers, and 26 incorrect answers.
We'll start by reviewing the incorrects first.
Our most popular incorrects are a pair of would-be 4-point co-SHEEPs. Puka Nacua missed some time at the beginning of the year, but has since looked great, when he's been in there. He came up just short for this question, with 990 receiving yards.

Also played by 4 players, our other co-SHEEP is the Colts' Michael Pittman. He didn't have the season he, or his fantasy owners, had hoped, and finishes 2024 with 808 receiving yards.

Our next most popular incorrect was played by 3 contestants. Chris Olave is a great young receiver, but Derek Carr nearly got him killed in a hit over the middle that left him concussed. As Olave's had concussions in the past, the Saints decided to play it safe, and not bring him back. He finishes 2024 with 400 yards.

Our next, also very painful incorrect was played by 2 participants. DK Metcalf just couldn't get 8 more yards for his PEEHS backers, as he finishes 2024 with 992 yards.

i have no doubt Puka gave everything he could
ten yards short is a difficult report card
This question's correct SHEEP was played by 4 players. Justin Jefferson just keeps putting up stupid receiving numbers. He didn't win the receiving triple crown, but he does finish 2nd in the NFL in receiving, with 1533 yards.

Our next most popular corrects are a pair of 3-pointers. Noted bibliophile AJ Brown also catches footballs in his spare time, and in 2024 he caught 97 of them for 1079 yards.

Also played by 3 contestants, our next correct is the Dallas WR1 CeeDee Lamb. The Cowboys haven't had the season that their fans had hoped, but props to Lamb for playing up to his big contract, and catching for 1194 yards.

Our next corrects are a quartet of 2-point answers. The Sun God Amon-Ra St. Brown had a fantastic year as the number 1 pass catcher in Detroit, and he finishes 2024 with 1263 yards.

thehempy
Our next 2-point correct is the erstwhile Raider and current Jet Davante Adams. He's getting older, and he's been doubted, with bad QB's (AND Aaron Rodgers) throwing to him. But he still put up 1063 yards this year.
Precept24
that_pope
Our next 2-point correct is Davante's teammate Garrett Wilson. The Ohio State product was Rodgers' favorite target in 2024, notching 1104 yards.
Booker Wolfbox
Melkerson
Our final 2-point correct is the man with the streak that lives on at least one more season. The incomparable Mike Evans may have needed some rather deliberate help to get over the mark, for his stupefying 11th straight season over 1000 yards. But he did hit that number, coming in at 1004 yards.

Question 20 closes with 4 aces.
Terry McLaurin loves his new rookie QB, and they showed quite a connection in 2024. They're still playing, heading to the NFCCG, thanks in no small part to his efforts last night in Detroit. For the season, McLaurin posted 1096 yards.
Vilica
Our next ace is the WR1 in Houston, Nico Collins. The Texans' WR corps had their depth tested repeatedly over the course of the season, but Collins was clearly the first option, and best deep threat, when he was in there. He finishes 2024 just over the mark, with 1006 yards.
lukethefluke
Our next ace is when the homer pick comes in for the WIN. All Ja'Marr Chase did in 2024 was post the most catches, yards, AND receiving TD's in the whole league. He says he wants $1 more than what Justin Jefferson got. Picking between them is splitting hairs, but there's no doubting the college teammates' talent. Chase finished 2024 with 1708 yards.
