Did anyone else happen to notice how the World Economic Forum treated The US during Trumps speech this week...
the Eagle should be facing the Branches and not the Arrows on the seal... that means the US is heading towards peace, the WEF has the eagle facing the arrows which makes the US leading towards war.
I guess Trump should stand in front of a different seal before broadcasting his video signal? Ah, maybe Trump is sending a dog whistle to his base that we're headed for war by choosing that seal for his background?

Yo ... i wanted to share something that i just learned, may be it will help some of you to handle the whole Trump situation better (it's already helping me):
I hate Trump with every fiber of my being, i think the guy is a horrible human being, and all the **** he's doing is only to enrich himself and stay out of jail (for all the crimes he has committed and will commit). and i don't even live in the US, still i was so pissed when he got re-elected.
But, i also realized, that all this negativity is not helping me, it's just blocking me, and most of all, it won't change anything. So, what's a better way to deal with it?

Seeing Trump and the whole Maga-movement as a necessary correction for the country. He was sent, bc the US has a lot of dark deep **** (racism and others) in it, and it has to come to the surface to be cleansed/removed. So, in a way, he's just a useful tool, to get this correction on the way.

In Consequence, i'm letting go of all my anger towards him (not saying that i like him now), but i simply refuse to let it influence my mood or my life in general, accepting that it's necessary to get to a better place in the end.

The people you’re ultimately referring to are those who voted Trump in the GOP primary. To choose Trump when other conservative options were available disqualifies one from being considered a serious, decent human. And makes one dogshit.

i agree with everything you say, absolutely, i feel the same way. it was bad, wrong, and god knows how much stupid **** is gonna happen from now on ... but that was not my point.
it has (!!!) happened, nothing is gonna change it, and i was describing a way that helps me dealing with the situation, putting it in another light, don't let it effect me so much - but instead (i know, that's the hard part) trying to find something positive in it.

I think you’ll find that irredeemable *******s with severe personality disorders have been put into the white house before, on several occasions. Some might even think it’s been most of the time.

I don't hate it if we are deporting criminal types and I don't mean criminal as here illegally. I mean criminals that have committed some other crimes. I don't dislike the idea. We should start with the felon in chief. However, I'm extremely skeptical that this is what is really going on. Normally I would give a president the benefit of the doubt but this lying felon doesn't get that any more. So, we'll see how it plays out.
What really bothers me is the smokescreen this creates for the other crap he's doing. He's trying to silence scientists at the health organizations. My guess is it's something petty like he's still butthurt from Fauci shaking his head when he insisted on spewing stupid nonsense. Doesn't matter. A war on science benefits nobody except the idiot conspiracy theorists and the right wing politicians trying to silence truth and facts.
On top of that, he fired the independent agency watchdogs. So much for fighting corruption. Again, he wants to do whatever he wants and not get called down on it.
We'll continue to see a purge of truth.

A lot of people understand all of this, and still voted for Trump, because they felt it was preferable to the extreme gaslighting we were getting from the other side.
Maybe you are ok with it, but a lot of people were bothered they were coerced to pretend they believed in so much absurd notions including (but certainly not limited to)
--Covid was likely natural in origin
--There is no immigration issue
--All disparate impact is due to racism
--American is a white supremacist nation
--It is perfectly fine for genetic males to compete in female youth sports
etc. etc. etc.
--If you dont want morally bad people to take power, dont gaslight and coerce people to pretend they believe things that aren't true; so the morally bad person is preferable just for saying obviously true things.
