Yeah, he started the last term with people who were awful, but that normies would approve of in a lot of positions (think Tillerson and Mattis) and only later turned the government over to Svengali, Roger Stone, Steve Bannon type people. He's starting out nuts straight off this time.

This is partly true and partly not true. Bannon was Chief White House strategist for the first seven months of Trump's first term. Stephen Miller, an outright ghoul, was the national policy director for the transition team. And the inner circle the first time around obviously reflected a lot of nepotism.
But you are correct that Trump will be surrounded this term by the worst cabinet and set of advisors in modern U.S. history.

Americans tend to protest about things that really matter, like pronouns and very specific criminals who end up dead. Not so much due to economic factors.
The irony is I’m in a heavily red state and the people who are already low income and will not be able to go to work now because they have nowhere to send their kids for school likely voted for Trump.

The "day one" promise of price reductions was a lie / exaggeration, he could have limited himself to a resolve to do everything in his power to reduce prices as soon as possible with the same effect.
