Donald J. Trump (For everyone else except Victor)

I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at

You mean impressionable, not impressionistic

Edit- what’s the source for the graphs, out of curiosity?

they came from a google image search of "trans graphs"

didn't fact check those two in specific because it was unnecessary as they say the same thing every other graph about the rate of trans says - this is a subject i'm pretty knowledgeable on

over 3% of current high school students in america identify as trans right now and another 3% are on the fence about it

if that were at all biologically driven we'd have ample historical examples of trans people - we don't there are none

you of course can find plenty of "this historical dude was trans" stuff written by activists as have been shared in the now defunct trans threads, but if you actually read the examples it's total nonsense where they usually just give a list of gay people or eunuchs

meanwhile, if we look at gay people in history, it's a never ending list from emperors of china and rome to lowly poets and merchants - we may even find a bunch of people who occasionally cross dressed, for example, Elizabeth I of Russia was known to have such incredibly nice legs that she wanted to show off so she would throw crossdressing balls so she could wear tight pants to show them off and not be covered up in a dress (and perhaps as well to let the leading men of court remember who was boss as they were forced to party in nice frilly dresses)

we will not however find anyone who claimed to be of the wrong gender, there's a very obscure greek philosopher who is somewhat close as he advocated that philosophy was a womanly act and as a philosopher he felt more feminine than male but alas that could just be some ancient academic edgelording rather than actually trans

edit: this is not to say that "trans don't exist" etc, i'm sure there were plenty who didn't feel comfortable to openly talk about their gender dysphoria - but if over 1 out of every 20 people historically felt this way, we can be absolutely assured that we'd wouldn't need to look far for historical examples of it

I lived in the Bay Area for at least 15 years. My kids both live in the Bay Area now. Some of my closest friends live there - including in SF. Until recently I worked for a company in SF (remote, but I was there often enough). I go to SF all the time...last time was when I helped one of my kids move into a new place at the beginning of the school year.

bay area =/= sf

pray tell, why don't you live in sf instead?

come on mb, you're better than this, just drop the gaslighting

Amazing

The audacity of playbig referring to himself as a professional in any capacity is beyond me

That was actually the nicest thing you've ever said about me, you're intuition was correct and I appreciate it.

au·dac·i·ty
noun
1. a willingness to take bold risks.
"her audacity came in handy during our most recent emergency"

How'd ya know?

And what's the graph saying?

by Trolly McTrollson k

Amazing

Not to mention that he thinks people would just admit to being trans in the past when people would routinely be taken out in the woods and killed for that sort of thing.

The graph shows increasing acceptance and willingness to express, not indoctrination. There is certainly nothing in those graphs that would indicate it was SCHOOLS causing the increase and not, to randomly pick something, streaming television popularity.

But yeah, who needs to fact check them when they show what you want?

i just want you to acknowledge that if luciom engaged in any of the namecalling that's happened here from several posters today, he would assuredly have been given a week off

I only have so many minutes on this forum per day....

Sorry it took so long to remove the unnecessary posts.

I've spent and continue to spend lots of time in SF. Why didn't I live there? I went to school and had a job in the East Bay and that's where I lived. I moved to SoCal to be near family when my kids were little.

Like you're suggesting that I don't live in SF now because it's a homeless encampment? Really?

I'd be more than fine living in SF now if I could afford it and didn't have obligations elsewhere.

Stay posted for my DOB and SS#.

Trump is a really shitty person. It's mindblowing that apparently that's what an awful lot of people want.

People that want pilots and air traffic controllers hired based on their race and not merit are truly shitty people.

idk what's nuttier, the notion that overworked elementary school teachers nationwide have some sinister plan to make your kids transgender, or the notion that teachers who can barely make kids do homework have to power to brainwash their students so thoroughly that they can change their gender. It's all just hysterical deranged nonsense these people pick up from Boomer Facebook groups and weed-addled middle-aged podcast bros.

this is just pure bad faithed posting - nowhere did i say they were not true, i said that they reflect the same data as stuff i have fact checked and wasn't going to check the source of those specific ones

it's like if you asked my height and i gave an answer, it's going to be accurate despite not measuring myself right now to fact check and confirm my height hasn't changed today

but i wouldn't expect any better from you because you're just an awful person and a terrible poster

you also suck at reading graphs, which is specifically why i included the one which broke down cohorts by age, you see there is no spike among the older generation - the same exact people who grew up during your "taken out in the woods and shot" era are not magically coming out as adults now in the safe era - that should tell you all you need to know

but nope, you are just an ideologue poster, people like you are why i can make a good living off political wagering alone - there's just too much dumb money involved of people wagering on feelings like you - you absolute incompetent hack

really surprised you haven't started over yet with a new account given all your terrible takes and defiant ls in these threads where you've been wrong over and over again - it's embarrassing - legit surprised you still post here - every time a new sock puppet shows up i suspect it's you seasoning up your replacement for a smooth transition because you are beyond redemption and can't think of anyone here who takes you seriously

He said we need to hire competent people over hiring someone only based on them being black, gay, or transexual, which is what the prior administration was doing (not only with the FAA/ATC but with every gov't agency).

The controller involved in the crash was incompetent (this is coming from an industry professional). Idk what his race or sexual preferences are, but his low key laid back attitude on the microphone while trying to avoid a potential collision wasn't nearly efficient enough, nor di

You're going to have to own some shiit some time.

You know, like on J6 you blamed the FBI when Trump fired the sitting director and hired his own Republican pick for the spot, yet you still cried deepstate nonsense.

To preemptively address your next point... why did some police let rioters into the Capitol on J6? Easy. They just did what you would personally do if you were a police officer on that day when your boy Trump had his election "stolen."

Naturally President McShithead has to immediately stand on the dead bodies of people and get ahead of the story and claim DEI til we die when the truth is of course simpler

Meh, my jimmies aren't rustled at all and you can see I can still chat with Inso0 or rick, who I am not agreeing with.

I don't need to have a blown top to either call the likes of luciom or bgwhatever names or to talk about how mods doing their modding just makes everything worse.

mb, you said yourself you commuted into sf for work

bay area is one of the few places on earth where the suburbs are not noticeably cheaper than downtown - in fact, several of them cost more than sf itself

so there wasn't much of a financial incentive to locate your family far away from your job you had to regularly commute into - you obviously made a lifestyle choice to not live in san francisco - as have many shown by the supply and demand that it actually cost more to rent in some places like mountain view or palo alto than it does in the city itself

again, more gaslighting - just be honest, you didn't randomly roll some dice and choose where to live, you chose an inconvenient commute for a reason

Do you regularly have issues communicating with women, by any chance? Do you too frequently confuse women being nice for them being “condescending”? When you single people out for “power trips”, is it women you think of first? Bc all seemed to have occurred here today and it’s making me rethink my former highly held opinion of you.

My god do I love that I p you off this much.

Tell us more about how your unsourced graphs show that elementary teachers are turning everyone into gay trans monsters.

You really should learn even a tiny bit about subjects before you talk about them. Did you now that people many people my age committed suicide rather than come out as gay or trans? Amazing that they aren't on your graph to come out as adults, huh?

Did you know many of them just decided to stifle their true selves and got married, etc and their lives would be ruined if they changed now?

I'm sorry me being here to correct your stupidity makes you so mad, but I'm not going anywhere.

And, if there's one thing I most certainly don't do, it's suck at reading graphs.

lolol

Edit to add: do provide examples of the times I've been wrong besides thinking trump would lose the election. I'd love a good laugh at what you think. I know you thought I was wrong about ice the other day, but it was the media that was wrong, not me. What else you got, liar?

This is kind of weird. I don't think you draw any conclusions because an individual does not reside in a specific city.

SF just hit a 10 year low for the amount of homeless people living in the streets. The city has been improving a lot on that front in the last two years - the SF community was pretty much in lockstep in wanting to solve this issue and I do believe that it really did piss off a llot of San Franciscans. But it was a shitshow there for a while. I lived in East bay for 25 years and then went Nor cal - or more nor cal

Dunno why no one really reads anything at all carefully. I'm describing the events of my life, which I'm really really familiar with. You might just assume I know what they are.

I went to school in the East Bay. I later had a job in the East Bay and lived there. I later moved to SoCal when my kids were little to be near family. I later got a remote job for a company in SF where I went in sometimes, but not regularly. I never chose any inconvenient commute. It would never have been convenient for me to live in SF. This is over a span of decades. I'm old.

Moving to SF is like a great plan with one small fault

by formula72 k

then went Nor cal - or more nor cal

I would love to live in North NorCal. Although some people apparently will think it means I'm gaslighting everything, I mean no offense to SF, but I would rather live in a Redwood Forest than inside any city.
