The boos are starting for the US national anthem at hockey games across Canada. Happened at the Senators game tonight in Ottawa. The Flames subreddit was talking about whether they were going to boo tonight at the game (still about an hour away). I'll be curious to see if that happens or not.
furthermore, the overwhelming majority of my classmates at that boarding school were manhattanites who's parents didn't want their kids going to the local public school
the wealthy who live year round in the hamptons or greenwhich connecticut were far more likely to send their kids to the local public school than the wealthy who lived in the cities

No teacher could handle even the 2nd half of high school calculus. And like I said I was lucky to even get the first half compared to pure rural areas…. We had a community college not that far away. But there’s no way a teacher at my school could score high enough get into IIT. Not even a fair fight.

When I moved schools from a suburban blue state to a rural red state as a child, I had to skip two grades. I essentially tested out of middle school.

per the data in your own article we know that nationally only 50% of schools even offer it
only 41% of blue state california schools have calculus
red state indiana which is all farm country offers the 4rd most at 74% which is tied with Mass and only behind New Hampshire and Maine which are both very low population and predominantly rural trump country
these states are so rural they have sections that don't even have any voting data
red state nebraska, which is about as rural and red as america gets is among the top as well at 61%, same with north carolina at 59% and kansas at 56%
your example of new york is middle of the pack at 52%, far below west ffing virgina at 59%
