Donald J. Trump (For everyone else except Victor)
I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?
So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at
genuine question, if biden had gotten mexico to better police their own side of the border etc would you not view this as a net positive?
The tweet is from 2019
If its not clear, I don't think Trump has done anything here. He didn't do anything in June 2019 and he hasn't done anything today. They are deporting LESS people per day right now than under Biden. Its all a big show.
Trump has to make it seem like hes doing a lot and has done a lot so he can get to his 2-5 days of golf per week
Meanwhile, Biden did exactly that.

Yeah, Biden was also a piece of ****. Not quite as bad, but that **** is depressing af.
So you are cool with extremely violent, inhumane cartels controlling the border and running drugs and human trafficking in incomprehensibly large numbers; including an extreme large amount of sex trafficking of underage girls?
Trump is exceptionally heinous and that bothers me, but what bothers me more in Trump vs Biden is that most Democrats deny the terrible stuff or have some excuse, cognitive dissonance and all. Trumpers don't deny the heinous stuff about Trump, they celebrate it.

this is the primary reason why i regularly get labeled a trumper because in their mind only a trumper could find any negatives in biden
also, very well put on the celebrating the heinous stuff, going to borrow that as i've struggled to articulate it well

Instead of worrying about what the partisan types think of say about you it's better to just silently judge them.

The Geopolitical landscape isn't puppy dogs and roses. Obama droned grandmas and babies and I'm sure Biden has blood on his hands too. That comes with the territory.
We aren't Norway, we don't get the luxury of being neutral.
We send troops off to war and they kill people and when they come back we don’t generally call them murderers. Acts in service of the country.
I don’t think trump was convicted of sexual assault while in service of the country. The pathological lying, racism, scamming, and general buffoonery aren’t in service of the country either.
Trump actively pits neighbor against neighbor based on sex, creed, and race
No, I'm asking why FTC/Bureau of Consumer Protection could not enforce the laws on the books (or any new laws), and instead require another separate agency be created with no congressional budget authority, no oversight, and essentially unconstitutional construction save POTUS able to hire/fire the director?
Are you trying to imply that FTC was to blame for the GFC?

Neutral Norway had zoos where they kept black families to be shown as wild animals to the curios minds of norvegians, one century ago.

All the Colombians exclaimed “gringo, gringo!” And “tourista!” Everywhere I went in Medellin too, and this was just a handful of years ago!
I dunno what point you are making. I’ve never said the world isn’t racist. If you dig hard enough you can probably find me saying that the US is one of the least racist places in the world
My claim is, what's stopping him and what reason do you have to actually think he wouldn't at least try. He's already tried to eliminate an amendment to the constitution, fired independent inspectors generals, and a ton of other stuff. I mean, really dude.
I hope that's the 16th amendment you're referring to.

it's hard to be objective because when i'm abroad on i'm outside but while here i'm on the inside
but from what i've witnessed, the US is the least racist place i've been to
it's not even 10% as racist as asia
not even 1/3 as racist as the middle east
50% as racist as latin america
and probably 75% as racist as europe
haven't been to sub-sahara africa in person but from what i've heard from others it's int he middle east region of racism
People that lean left, as if it were a tribal cult, seem to heavily rely on 'Progressiveness' as some shining badge of honor... when in truth, a progressive ideology is neither left or right but is itself, 'self evident'.
The left seems to conveniently forget that arguably the most Progressive act that has ever been witnessed in these United States of America is in fact a Republican Executive Order... One by which a Man, a Father and a Husband gave his life in virtue thereof.
The Emancipation Proclamation
That on the first day of January in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three, all persons held as slaves within any State, or designated part of a State, the people whereof shall then be in rebellion against the United States shall be then, thenceforward, and forever free; and the executive government of the United States, including the military and naval authority thereof, will recognize and maintain the freedom of such persons, and will do no act or acts to repress such persons, or any of them, in any efforts they may make for their actual freedom
Wait, Lincoln was a Republican?
40 acres and a mule. What might have been.
He'd be called a RINO by his brothers in this climate.
Eneway, rather than Trump stopping the Ukraine war within his first 24 hours in office, he's offering to give them military aid if they allow him access to rare earth minerals.
Hmmmm... I wonder who is close to Trump that could use rare earth minerals for his businesses...
