[WSOP.com Nevada] Unofficial thread

Since WSOP locked their thread, why can't we have our own?

Anyone else still having tags change color? It seems like yellow to green is most common, but I've noticed a couple red to orange and orange to yellow. Some yellow-tagged players will turn green, I'll change them to yellow, and the next time I log in they are green again. But other yellow-tagged players have stayed yellow and never changed. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. I've started just writing what the tag should be in the notes, which is super annoying. It would be nice if they got around to fixing this 9 months in to the new software.

When I run WSOP.com in Nevada it works great for me UNTIL I turn on Google Chrome to surf on another screen - then wsop gets super laggy and multiple tables becomes timeout impossible to navigate with a 10-20 second delay between mouse click and action executing in the app.I deleted all of my Chrome extensions and cleared the cache but to no avail.Any suggestions? I've had this issue since the software update. I can only play one tournament at a time because a 2nd table will make every laggy.

I went from playing 80-100 tournaments a month to now playing 8-10 lol

This happens to me when I get disconnected. Same thing, yellow to green, red to orange, orange to yellow. It's even deleted all my notes once or twice. Super annoying, but at least I have most players' colors memorized now.

I'm sure I'm tagged fish by all the regs.

Only real tags I got are on people that play 24-7 and the bankroll donators that have infinite funds.

The table blocking at heads up is starting to get pretty ridiculous. Moose4Life (the new one, almost positive its a different player from the guy who had the screen name before the merge) even goes so far as sit back in to play his button once every 5-10 minutes to ensure he doesn't get automatically booted from the table for sitting out. So today he blocked 8 tables of heads up for 2 hours and we played maybe 30 hands total across all 8 tables.

I've emailed WSOP 12 times in the last 2 weeks regarding these and a few other players. Most of them don't get a response at all. I did finally get one response that they would look into it but that they can't tell me about the results of the investigation.

i don't think anyone will deliberately name themselves moose4life. its prob the same guy from old wsop site. This moose weirdly enough doesnt play 6m on WSOP, but exclusively focuses on HUNL

That's pretty ****ed up. I'll definitely email them about it too if he blocks mine at all.

i mean it happens to people in alaska all the time stupid moose walking through the road blocking traffic or getting in a fight with another moose thats probably why he made his screenname that

I dont get it the guy is taking up all the tables to reserve them to play someone else or what benefit does it bring him to do this?

The heads up tables only have 2 open tables per stake, so it's a king of the hill type environment, where if you're not willing to play against the person who sits with you, you have to leave the table. So most likely moose was sitting at a HU table and shitaka sat with him to play and moose didn't want to give up the table. Then as more tables opened up (because there were "full tables") they repeated the process and moose was just trying to prevent shitaka from being able to sit at an empty table and get action from other players.

It's against the TOS of the site and should be reported to support so they can warn players against doing it.

It's just pure spite. They are sitting the tables hoping that a recreational player sits. When a pro sits they refuse to give action (which is fine, can't force anyone to play someone they don't want). The issue is that instead of leaving the table they just sit out and wait for a new table to spawn in the lobby and then sit that one. Then I join that one, rinse and repeat until we have the maximum number of tables open with no action. The only benefit for moose4life or flyingace1 is that they think it annoys me and they just hope I will give up and cede they tables to them.

If the site has anything like a brain they will check the whoor for RTA at the same time. Even if they find nothing, the waiting while the account is suspended will deter them from table hogging again.

It’s definitely the same Moose, very typical for him to be salty for no reason.

I guess it also increases the odds a rec sits them not you. Especially since you cant view whose seated from the lobby

Anyone else getting slowrolled by the software. It takes 2 seconds before the winning hand is shown

Yep, happens when I play plo for some reason but not NL

He just can't help himself. And I guess WSOP doesn't care even though I've sent in more than a dozen emails with multiple screenshots.

You can just choose not to sit at everyone’s table as well

You can just choose not to sit at everyone's table as well

one player is trying to play, the other is breaking the tos and being a dick

Hey all. When I open a 3rd table, wsop.com becomes unusably slow. This problem started when I bought my new laptop. Both the new laptop and my old one had 16 gigs of ram. When I check the system resources being used, it is hitting about 20% cpu usage and 77% memory usage.

Back when my old laptop was new, I originally had the same problem. I tried returning 3 different laptops to best buy and tried it on 3 different model new laptops, and had the same issue. I stopped playing on wsop.com for a few months, and then one day I tried it again and it worked fine.

Can anyone help with this bug please?

If you out your SN here, it'll make more sense why your so defensive over this comment from Shika.

Might have to wait till GG takesover.. I know they are against bumhunting and table camping...

They are also against having winning players and rake max possible, can’t wait.

I am signing up with wsop.com in NV, is there a promo code for getting rakeback or is it automatic, if any?

by rodgethatnew m

Hoping as regs we can band together and boycott or only play on MGM if they jack the rake up to unplayable levels
