Finally starting to wake up from the coma that was the last few weeks. Not sure really anyone will care, but I wanted to share some photos from the Eagles parade, though I’m not by any means a good photographer. It was the best, though only, parade I’ve ever been to on Valentine’s Day. I was down near the stadium complex and unfortunately I didn’t make it to the Art Museum for the speeches.
Swoop with the cheerleaders

The trophy. Couldn’t tell who was holding it though.

Clint Hurtt catching a beer (the very large man, DL coach). People were throwing tons of beer at the buses. Howie Roseman (GM) took a can to the forehead and had a bleeding arc from it. Almost saw like 5 cops get drilled from cans that didn’t make it high/long enough to the double decker buses.

Clint chugging the beer he caught

Conner Barwin with his daughter (former player and Head of Football Dev and Strat)

Nick Sirianni - Head Coach

Saquon Barkley - NFL single season rushing leader (regular + playoffs)

AJ Brown - mental health advocate and World ****ing Champion - getting mobbed by children. Ngl, this was pretty awesome to see and I wished my kids were with me so I could have thrown them over the barrier to join in.

Horses. They **** all over the street.

Phillies joining in

**** the Eagles
Looks like a ton of fun, johnny. I went to the Avs' Cup parade a few years back. Two kinda interesting things happened right in front of me.
The guy in front of me caught Darcy Kuemper's eye (then-goalie), and lobbed a beer to him. He caught it, opened, and chugged, all in one motion. Glove save, and a beauty!
Bo Byrum (IIRC) slid himself off the back of the fire truck and ran along the crowd, giving high-fives. When he went to get back on the truck, the cops stopped him, thinking he was just some guy who jumped the barriers. Of course, the Avs told them he was with them and it got straightened out quickly.
I’ve actually seen ZZ Top live and yes, it was excellent. They toured with Lynyrd Skynyrd back in the late 90s or early 00s.
It’s debatable which band had more original living members playing.
Believe it or not, ZZ Top is playing here this summer. Might just be one Z and no Top at this point
Looks like it was an Awesome parade.
Thanks for sharing pics. 👍
Andddd great job Garick and congratulations to Mrs. Garick!
squid, thanks so much for the pointers, had best session ever and drew zero attention - even getting the pit bosses to regularly change the channels for me so I can sweat the next bet 😀
even been mixing in some occasional side bets when neutral or positive ev just to really reinforce i'm a ffing degen who needs the action
been watching a bit of this guy's videos a bit for inspiration because i feel like he's making countless mistakes (takes pride in getting backed off withing 20 min everywhere he goes) but i'm noob and humble enough to still kinda posting it because for all i know squid could say he's fish sauce approved and that i could learn from him (but i doubt it)
also, it's actually very relatable results wise - ie he gets hugely +ev spots and still loses piles so it's actually kind of a nice stress reliever too (oh look he also was in a hugely positive count and dealer got back to back blackjacks)
the voice is somewhat familiar - wouldn't be surprised if he's a former poker player
He certainly came to the right place.
Finished the jewelry project that has been eating my life for the last six weeks!
It's a medieval Persian collar for my wife, who is getting an award for her Persian costuming, dance, and research. Her sister made the enamel laurel wreath that is the symbol of the award, and the rest was all me. Man, I'm tired.
Great job Dr-Jeweler. What does she do with Persian dancing?

Glad I could help my man!
Mixing in the side bets is fantastic. Eating a little variance can do wonders for getting down. Knowing exactly how much you are giving up in ev is critical.
I have witnessed more than a handful of guys get a little too into making "cover bets". They become the clown that they are trying to portray and are simply gambling.
I cant watch a video of someone who takes pride in getting nuked within 20 minutes. That being said I am willing wo wager you can pick up some very good ideas of what not to do when trying to get down by watching this guy.
Keep thinking about your character and how to present, etc. It takes time to get super comfy especially if you are not a natural extrovert. As you move up in steaks it will pay off because you will be so smooth and present like a total goofball and they wont figger it out till its too late
oh yeah that's what i meant is that he's inspiring me in the sense that it really emphasizes what not to do
i see the way he very precisely and robotically does everything with very rigid sizings and i'm just like wtf - is he trying to make what he's doing very obvious?
my favorite move i've learned from you is the "**** it let's press it" where i let it ride, looks so degen, even getting other players to say "woah man that's crazy" etc etc and then if it wins i say "let's keep it going" or if it loses i pretend i'm all tilted by the loss and then put out another big wager with "let's get it all back!"
of course when i'm pushing hard in good positive counts i'm standing animated and yet still regularly distracted to watch the basketball game which i have no interest in following but i'm going to randomly fist pump when the next player shoots and pretend like it going in or not was what i needed
yet another vlogger who i can learn what not to do from who so conveniently wrote it out on the video itself to make for easy memeing

ngl, she's mad cute though despite a multitude of piercings that don't gel well with this fancy lad
Spoiler
fancy lad
(this photo does not do her justice, would definitely pursue after she gets backed off in 10 minutes because she vlogs
Spoiler
i can fix her
Is this the one with the thing across the bridge of her nose? Yeah she gives off the CC vibes from the first move she makes at the table.

1) You're not working tirelessly. You might be working diligently. People get tired when working. It's natural. Quit using meaningless statements.
2) This is basic functionality. It's not as if there's some complex interpretation of IRS guidelines. There can't be more than 20 or so federal, and maybe a handful per state, filing instruction templates. Fill in the right amounts/dates/addresses for the returnee in question, bind that to the data, and print it with the forms.
Grrr.
hey baby
She dances, choreographs group performances, and teaches both dance and choreography. She tries to use only traditional styles, rather than modern "belly dancing" techniques, but it's really hard to know how far back even the traditional stuff goes, as the only documentation for the dancing is very vague references and static paintings that show a dancer, thus proving that at some point in some dance they ended up in that stance.
Good question. Apparently, the bassist died, and was replaced by their long-time guitar tech, but IDK if he has the traditional look.

So let AI do your taxes?

So let AI reverse-engineer belly dancing?
IDK about AI doing taxes, but a friend of mine told me about freetaxusa.com. Apparently, they are a good site technically, and make their money by charging for state returns, not federal.
I haven't looked into it enough yet to see what I think of it, and if "free federal" really means "free simple federal," but I might take a look at that.
Tom's a really smart guy, so I feel pretty comfortable passing on his advice.
