He’s just another hardcore libertarian that thinks any level of taxation or regulation that he doesn’t like is a war crime on his personal rights but that banning trans kids from collegiate sports is fine because “national champions” need to have standards set by the federal government.

Aside from the COVID disaster (that alone is more than enough), for the past, in Italy, taxation was a lot higher than any moral threshold could consider acceptable at least from where I sit.
But it's not only that, economic freedom (the most important set of freedoms by a large margin, because you need resources to be free in other aspects of your life) was kneecapped completly everywhere in Italy.
Basically I already lived through what democrat supporters in this forum would love to see the USA become and it's a disgusting horror show (that yes includes organized crime becoming powerful because there is more money to make in defying the state)

Trans kids aren't banned from collegiate sports and I don't think they should be banned at all from collegiate sports (or any other sports).
You might be confusing the fact that I want people with dicks to play sports with other people with dicks with "banning" which is utter nonsense.

Pretty sure Italy has had a problem with organized crime since before there was an Italian state. I don't hear about much organized crime in Norway.
