Winter LC Thread: Get More HOT Chicks
Maybe warm chicks will suffice, even lukewarm. Hell, even those with a slight chill.

Coffee milk, the state beverage of Rhode Island.
wondering would you rank that better or worse than the wisky brandy old fashioned?
Ohio out of nowhere with "Tomato Juice"
I could have guessed for a year
I like that Texas doesn't play your silly State Drink Game. If we had a State Drink it'd be BEEF.
Colorado either. Probably would be Coors anyway.
Or, as it's otherwise known, water.
Banquet Water...
Actually, our State Drink would probably be liberal tears, lol. (I am a liberal, so those ****ers would be constantly milking me!)
self-owns are wonderful possessions
free yet difficult to tax track or take away
cell phones quite the opposite
appears someone was lazy and stopped after the second quiz option
so dare i go soldering on and made it as far as Maine
i'll have to bet half of you would quit at the same time
this is a new one to me and
also the origin of the word in our current lexicon

Moxie is a brand of carbonated beverage that is among the first mass-produced soft drinks in the United States. It was created around 1876 by Augustin Thompson as a patent medicine called "Moxie Nerve Food" and was produced in Lowell, Massachusetts. The sweet soda is similar to root beer, but with a bitter aftertaste. It is flavored with gentian root extract, an extremely bitter substance commonly used in herbal medicine.
The name has become the word "moxie" in American English, a noun meaning energy, determination, and spunk.
a song from Arthur Fields in 1921 promoting it
and then this
Lon Gisland wins with Iced Tea. 2nd place to Colorado and Bulldogs.
Joe Erie had moxie in The Sting.
What is the most important attribute someone can have. Moxie, Spunk, Grit, or Gumption?
It's St. Patrick's Day. A few years ago, Zeno and I met up in NYC on this day. Ran into two couples from Galway who come to NYC for this day. They said it's much more fun here.
BTW, where has Zeno been?

John - just wanted to take this opportunity to tell you how much I appreciate you and what you post. When I look at you, I see what being a man is all about. I'm sure you have many foibles and flaws, but you're a damn good man and I look up to you. I hope you know that.
And I thank you for being here in our little community.

Dom, thank you. I certainly do have many foibles and flaws. But don't we all?
What I like about this place is that we get to know and learn from each other without meeting in person (even though we have).
Thank you once again, my friend.

MLB season has started with early games in Japan.
Forgotten how nice it is to wake up to early sports. Newspaper, Coffee, game on. Damn I miss the West Coast

I am not a fan of the ultra early overseas start to the season. I am a traditionalist. Good news is that the Cubs are 0-2!!!!!!!! So it is a tremendous start 😀 But I am really looking forward to next Thursday. My team will suck and I barely know anything about many of their players but I am looking forward to seeing is any of these kids can play and create a future for the team.
