Just read the whole thread, brilliant blog.

Gl gl

Thanks man! Giving you 5% of my action next time I play, which I'm thinking may be tomorrow in Milwaukee. Got back to the place & am just recovering. Headache disappeared but will need a good night's sleep before heading back out to the world of degeneracy. Message me your PP.

Oh wow that's a fantastic gesture, thank you so much.

Will DM you my PayPal

Really did enjoy reading your thread, really well written.

GL and ty again.

Looks like another Winter storm is coming into Wisconsin today, but not for about 4 hours. Got a nice nights rest a solid 7-8 hours with melatonin. Can’t remember exactly what I dreamed about but I do know it was vivid. So good deep sleep - check! Swinging back home was the move…I didn’t even pack correctly I realized at hotel I only packed 2 pairs of underwear lmao. Was going to do laundry before leaving but with the snow coming don’t want to get stuck driving in 4-5 inches so will just throw a basket in the back of the car and do it someplace in Milwaukee when I need another break. Got that same cheap room I had booked earlier in the week was able to adjust dates with no fees. Gonna grind today and tomorrow morning, then get a medical screening done for my job, then after that the world is my oyster.

How have I never read this thread? Solid stuff lol. Poker, sports betting, stocks(including a Roaring Kitty mention) and craps!

I try to take it easy on craps because it's so damn fun. Especially when there's a hot shooter and lots of hype people at the table. Waaay more fun that poker. But easy to lose a ton fast too. Dangerous for a person like me. Once played craps in Vegas at Aria with Champ Bailey, my twin bro and I made him some money haha. Cool story bro.

You been playing March Madness at all? I'm getting killed lol but it happens.

Gonna keep an eye on this one. Hope you continue running it up!

Got to the casino before noon, no issues driving down with weather and beat the snow. Milwaukee has been raining steadily all day but doesn’t look like any snow today. Tonight everything will likely turn to ice when temps dip below freezing and make the roads slippery though. Wisconsin weather can be brutal Spring couldnt come soon enough.

Got right on the wait list for a $1/$3 NLHE game. Took about 20 mins to get a seat. Seemed like about 5 1/3s going and 2/5 had interest and then I think a small limit game. Played for about 3 hours. Table was friendly. Everyone was competent. I doubled $300 second orbit. Folded every hand until I was in big blind with K4 spades. UTG+1 raised to $12. 4 callers I called. Flop 4 D QS 9S. Checked to Preflop raiser who makes it $40. Folds around to me I make it $130. He shoves I call. Turn Spade River 4 and I scoop with flush over flush he had a lower suited connector. Right before that hand happened I was talking to the guy next to me about what he thought about taking the over in the Duke game. Heard some other guys talking about that earlier and he seemed to know his college basketball from the table chatter. He said he would rather have the halftime over at 69.5. So after I won that hand I put $100 on that.

I move from seat 5 to seat 1 because I dont like playing directly across from dealer. I play tight just chillin already up $300. Get AKs on the button right before the Duke game starts. MP player raises a limper to $12 he gets 3 callers I make it $100 folds around to MP who folds but guy next to him shoves the rest of his stack in which is only $40 more for me to call. I snap flop is J 7 5 turn 2 river 9 he turns over KJos. Duke game comes on just chillin watching the first half. That bet comes in for like $87 profit. Im getting hungry at this point so I rack up, cash the ticket, and get some tacos from a casino restaurant. Slam those in record pace then hop in a craps game. Up about $200 or so at this point from sports bet and poker.

Get in the craps game for a quick $600 after a sour start with quick 7s but then a guy goes on a heater and hits the ATS Bonus with me at $5-$5-$5 and I get $1.2k from that or so. The ATS bonus for those that don’t know is a bonus you can play in some craps games that pays you out 150:1 if you hit every # before a 7, then 35:1 if you hit all the small numbers below a 7 before a 7 and then another 35:1 if you hit all the tall numbers before a 7 (ATS = all talls all smalls), so you get 220:1. It’s a hard bonus to hit but it does happen. I chip up and out and go upstairs to another craps game lose $300. Go downstairs to the original craps game and make another $400. So up about $900 today ($45 to 5% sent). Heater continues we are cooking. Like an egg on a sidewalk in the summer….we are cooking! Hope the heater continues.

Went to the bank had to put some of this cash in the ATM deposit had like $11k on me. I get paranoid having that much on me in a city like Milwaukee. By the way there’s so many damn pot holes in this city it’s truly a maze just getting from point A to point B. Went to Walmart had to get some body wash and shampoo. Sitting in a parking lot waiting for my laundry to finish..found a laundromat close to Walmart. Left casino at perfect time because I had to take care of some of these errands. Going to go to the room after laundry finishes. It’s a $27/night and its a straight up **** hole of a place I’ve stayed at before but Im cheap when it comes to the lodging expenses…may need to work on that.

Very cool getting a chance to play with Champ Bailey. Totally agree craps is a lot of fun. Still love poker. Craps comes quick and goes out quick that’s for sure. Only discovered how to play that game about a month back played about 15 times only lost once, so reminding myself it can’t be this easy. Today was the first March Madness bet I had…just a small one the over at half for Duke game for $100. I don’t watch a lot of college sports at all, or do any fantasy related stuff there, so just betting what other people who seem confident think lol.

I appreciate you following 5% to you across everything tomorrow Monday. Think I’m going to take it light with just poker though.

Wow, will catch up on this thread later as off to work.

Thank you so much mate, for the money. Can't tell you what an amazing gesture that is.

Massive respect to you mate.

GL GL GL, will follow along and try and build a roll with that money. Ty ty ty

Thanks! Hope you run good haha. Thinking of starting a blog myself, I may have to copy the graciousness when I get on my feet.

If you do get lucky it'll be going to the bankroll. I'm starting over and grinding out of these micros lol

Had to swing back home today after my medical screening in Milwaukee to send over some paperwork for HR for new position. On the way back I put $1350 on the Indiana ML vs Minnesota at -125 so that’s the action today gl to us

Let's goooo! Thank you! Def gonna come in handy. Let's run it up!

The last few months for me have been a success. 2025 altogether has been going very solid. Maybe this is my come up year.

I got my medical screening completed in Milwaukee. Not sure why I was so anxious for that, but I'm relieved now that it's over. I had to take a piss test for drugs, which I don't have to worry about at all since I don't take anything prescription or non prescription - and only drink alcohol rarely like maybe 2-3 beers a month, - but sometimes my blood pressure can spike when they put the cuff on me,. I wasn't sure what that would have done if I had tested "above the limits", but it tested right below. Overall it wasn't a big deal understandably seems like they just wanted to make sure their employees weren't doing any meth. The doctor who performed the "physical" part was just like "is there anything that would prevent you from completing this job?". No Sir. "Okay - have a nice day". I went into the wrong career field.

I slept good last night, as I usually do at home in my own bed with no obligations the next day. Today I think the move is getting my hair cut, washing my bedding, and Netlfix/napping,. Tomorrow my local poker room opens again (only open Wednesday - Saturday) in Green Bay so that's always an option, but I do have off this week so should probably leave Wisconsin. Milwaukee was a success, and I don't really want to go back there right at the moment as I got my dose of Potawatomi & Milwaukee for a while. I think the move Wednesday is Rivers in Chicago as that's been on my mind. I may take a last minute flight someplace warm that has some sun until Saturday depending on the energy levels. I had an option of taking a trip to Tampa Bay yesterday as there was a flight out of Milwaukee for like $160 that left at 7pm, but I slept like dog **** Sunday night. I went back out to play craps & poker until like 3am (made about $200 or so), and by the time I got back to the room I was able to fall asleep quick enough, but I **** you not there was a guy who decided to assemble a vacuum right outside of my room at 730am, which as you could imagine woke me up. I am a light sleeper & I've decided to be pickier in the future about what rooms I select as sleep for me is huge. If I'm taking big swings I need to be well rested, I've realized for me that's a huge part of being a good decision maker & moving into the future I will consider that as an investment. I got about 4.5 hours of sleep that night, & also needing to send some additional documents to HR is what made me head back home instead of fly to Tampa that day. But I smacked that Pacers bet so no regrets there. More to come soon.

After a shower and hair cut, lunch and coffee, I feel pretty energized. So on the way to Oneida to cash the ticket then heading to Chicago. Might get a feel for some of the lower stakes games before jumping into anything big. IÂ’m on about a $15k upswing so hoping to keep this heater alive. Last time I lost was that $900 several weeks back at $1/$3 and before that I was already running well. I wouldnÂ’t consider myself a spiritual person, like I donÂ’t believe in the traditional concept of God and donÂ’t think Ghosts and Demons and other supernatural beings are real. IÂ’d consider myself mostly a naturalist and materialist. I went through a phase in my younger twenties where I got super into philosophy, mostly epistemology, metaphysics, and morality. I also am mostly joking when I talk about investing in karma. But there is something to be said about the world giving back what you put out, or at the very least manifesting your own success through positive energy and a mindset shift. Whatever IÂ’m doing is working so gotta stick with it until I I lose. Next commenter gets 5% of my action today.

Got to the room in Chicago. Got a nicer place that's private for slightly more. It's quiet with a comfortable bed. I also booked a flight to Tampa Bay tomorrow, & flying back Friday night. Short trip but will make best of it. Gonna hit up Hard Rock poker room in Tampa along with some beaches, and Rivers tonight. Will make update Sunday night regarding trip. Don't want to fly with more than $10k cash on me so hopefully I don't lose the $9k I have on me. I can reload if I need to but if I have to do that I'd be disappointed. Let's get it.

bro just win at your job and side-hustle millions... you clearly have the talent

Update: Got hosed in Chicago. Colder than ice in everything I touched. Didn't even touch poker that was a mistake. Cancelled the flight to Tampa. Tried chasing it back on Pacers ML tonight 03/26. Would have brought it all the way back + some. Pacers up by 1 point with less than 30 seconds. Pacers decide to dribble behind 3 point line and double pump a 3 point shot with 5 seconds left, it bricks, Lakers get rebound & a fast break, Luka misses layup ....Lebron tips it in at the buzzer., Pacers lose. Money come money go. I will be able to shrug it off, & nothing new I've been in many big spots in my life and always come up short in the moments it matters the most. Will explain some of those at some point in the future. Will be back at some point, but will be taking an extended hiatus. Was a fun last few months and the my story isn't over lol but Lebron is the goat what can I say. Plan for next half a year or so...get back in shape, move closer to new job, lose some weight. Hopefully when I return some of that is done. GG for now. Won't be checking in until next binge streak which will likely be later on down the road when I run up another stack.

Ah well, it was great you took a few of us on the ride with you. All the best on the new job and the move. After visiting my father I am going to start taking more of an interest in my health - although he has just been diagnosed with prostate cancer, hes is in brilliant shape - which he doesn't mind telling you. Goes hiking in the mountains with an extra 10kg water in his backpack - at 79! Vegetarian, exercises daily (never a gym or weights) and has lots to keep him occupied.

I am still using the money you gave me as stake - bit of an experiment on my side - might make a thread on it as I have never started a thread on this site. But that will only happen from next month around the 14th or so

Decided will be back August 1st. 4 month break as punishment for Chicago degeneracy & the Pacers bet. By August 1st I'll be back in the exact same position I was heading into Chicago. Going to buckle down as I said and focus on some life stuff in the meantime. Fitness, moving, & losing weight. Won't place a single bet in anything until then. No fantasy football, no gambling of any kind, no poker or craps. I could try and chase it back with another big sport's bet or grinding some poker, but I think 4 months off is the move. Be back then for some redemption.

Can't do any fantasy football before August anyway.

I just found this blog, it's epic! Get things together and come back. I'm sure I'm not the only one looking forward to a return!

That's the game I had a massive bet on. Pacers Vs. Lakers. Watch that clip. Had about $5k on that game at +100, so that was a $10k swing. Add to that what I had lost prior to at Rivers, and it was not a great Spring Break....completely disgusting lol....but 1 week later here I am and I've gotten completely over it. Years of gambling has allowed me to separate myself in a sociopathic type way from money. It's what allows me to be able to pull off massive bluffs and laugh when I get called. I'm a gambler, it is what it is. It's in the blood. There's nobody to blame but myself, and that also allows me to shrug it off because it was always in my control. However with that being said, what I do find disgusting is how a half second can define the trajectory of a year or a life. Last summer I also felt incredibly unlucky when I had a $30k position in GME and I got rug pulled by their CEO a few hours before planning to sell, and then having my account shut down by Fidelity for the whole summer due to in my opinion a bullshit reason. It's frustrating that in my big spots I'm getting ****ed Amazon style by the universe. Prior to going to graduate school and after graduating undergrad I had spent about 4 years in the Minneapolis area. I was working about 80 hours a week at group homes just trying to make ends meet. I worked a lot of nights....I was in a poker tournament through BetCoin. 1st place was $50k+. Was down to last 15 people and I had aces. Got it all in preflop for 50+ big blinds and got called by a guy with 77's and he sucked out. Had I won that hand and found a way to take down that tournament, it's 2016 and Vegas poker was juiced, who knows what would have been. Used those nightshifts by the way to study for the GRE to get myself into a grad program. Lived in a person's dirty ass basement during that time and got myself out of a bad spot in life. Girlfriend broke up with me, but I found the strength and got myself out of that basement.

Still haven't touched a bet, and won't until August . That's etched in concrete. What I keep telling myself is the games will all be there then, they aren't going away, so be patient 4 months goes by quick. As I said I know when to push and know when to pull. Still have about $8k in the nightstand and some $ in stocks in a long-term, but still waiting for August 1st. This summer I'm going to spend a few months at the Parents house doing some fishing and enjoying the weather. Parents are a little difficult to live with, the conservative Christian type who pray before dinner and go to church on Sundays and judge you constantly, but have been avoiding them for over a year, so should spend some time with them and since I'll be in between crashpads & need to reorganize all my ****, going to hang out with them in Northern Wisconsin for June - July seems...wholesome? Someday they won't be around and don't get me wrong I feel very fortunate and lucky in life to have Parents at all. But what could have been if Lebron had only missed that bucket, maybe then I'm in Macao ****ing Asians & playing high stakes, but instead I'm on lockdown daydreaming of epic god rolls. The discretionary income I have is going back into the bankroll, so as I said August 1st I'll be in the exact same spot I was heading into Chicago, and trust me when I ****ing say that when August 1st hits I'll be ready as ever for my redemption. Let's get it.

Trump is crushing the stock market. I am getting reamed this month from every angle. I should have bought the putts, but I'm long in the long-term. Also found out the new Job has a gap in pay periods. I get paid bi-weekly right now. Current contract goes through end of June. July was a 3 month pay period, and looks like I won't get paid until end of August for new position since the contracted period doesn't line up. Was blasting off and now crashing. BUT it's all good I got the rainy day fund in the nightstand and I'm a resilient mother ****er. My day will come. As a wise man named Train once said.....You will have your day!

Train's speech that started it all:

Thanks for the updates sorry to hear it went south. It seems like you are a pretty solid poker player, have you considered sticking to that solely and cutting out the other gambling which I have to imagine is negative ev?

If you really need to satisfy gambling urges you could shot take higher poker limits? (But I suppose you'd have to travel to Vegas etc for that)

Well i wouldn’t necessarily have to go to Vegas to shot take cash games. Chicago has $25/$25 NLHE games that seem to run somewhat frequently, otherwise $5/$10 is normally always running on the weekends there. Then Milwaukee which is closer for me always has $2/$5. If I wanted to play any bigger tournaments the WSOP circuit also comes through Milwaukee and Chicago. Im assuming everything outside of poker and the stock market for me is probably negative EV. Like I know slots & roulette are, and for me to think I have some sort of edge in craps or sports betting would be naive. Sticking to poker and investing is probably the right move. Saving the shot taking for higher limit poker games and cutting out all other forms of gambling would likely result in better outcomes long-term, and would at least be worth trying. After getting hosed in Chicago and not even sitting at a poker table, Im leaning towards that. We will see. Whats etched in concrete is only as permanent as time allows. I guess it’s more about discipline than anything.

Just found out that there’s a poker room north of me about an hour that I’ve never been to. No idea how it took me a year to realize this…it’s not on Bravo ever so that’s probably why. It’s in the Upper Peninsula of MI and called Island Resort and Casino. Anyways stuck a wad in the hoodie grabbed some cheese curds gonna go check it out. Beats snacks and YT alone on a Friday night. Maybe redemption starts tonight….maybe. 3betting a bunch of regs every hand might get the whole village talking
