Was really excited about the launch of this site late last year. The tax reporting helps make it harder for bots to cash out, and the time bank charge (something like 0.2 BB per 10 sec) makes it harder for people to use RTA software. So those are positives. The software isn't the greatest but it works.
For the rake, what do you mean? They don't charge a typical rake by the pot, only a fee whenever someone buys new coins.
This is a strange post I don't understand.
EDIT: I think the main legit criticism of this site would be that their RNG has not been independently audited/verified. If they fixed that I would give it a 5-star review, but I think I'll address the topic is another thread.

I shipped last Friday's $55 (/brag) and did my first withdraw. They sent me a W-9 form where I could not add today's date on the PDF even when I paid $20 to upgrade to Adobe Pro. Let's see if they use this issue as delay to send me my winnings.
The action on MTTs and cash is still pretty good. I'm trying to play as much as possible as I am worried this site is going to get caught in the casino sweepstakes bans going on in alot states (including my own).
Anybody think this site will be gone this year or will it survive?

It will most likely die very slowly. State and Feds take forever to enforce laws even after they pass them. One thing I find really odd is Global Poker exits certain states every single year but ClubWpt Gold still chooses to operate in those states. Gonna be interesting to see what happens. They literally have the same business model except Global Poker has a casino and ClubWpt does not....yet
It does seem like they slow pay. Requested another 600$ withdraw on Sat and it’s still pending as of now.

I've got 2 $5K withdrawals within 48 hours of start to finish, the 2nd came in 12 hours. I emailed them a W9 as soon as I hit send instead of waiting for them.

The donk is wrong. It's based on cumulative withdrawals.
If you withdraw $1 601 times you are getting a 1099.
Who is offering rakeback? Is it through the MTT freerolls or a percentage?
I've discovered that ClubWPT Gold's RNG is most definitely not random. A single day's worth of data reveals this, although there's more, too.
Yesterday, I saw quads at showdown four times, even though I only played for four hours max (so ~300 hands or less). One of those times, I was in the pot with the nut full house in a cash game, and the other three were during a tournament—big multi-way pots.
I crunched the numbers using Grok, and the odds of seeing four of a kind happen that many times in such a short period at an 8-person table are about 0.05%. And that's not to mention the fact that normally, not every hand where someone has quads makes it to showdown. So that both reveals the fact that action-rigging is happening, while also raising the possibility that even more quads could have been happening that no one saw.
So this can't be random variance - it should have taken thousands more hands before seeing quads happen so many times.
I used to play live every weekend for years and probably saw quads once a year at most.
Summary of my experience on the site:
I won $100 at $0.05 / $0.10 within the first two days of signing up on ClubWPT Gold. I was flopping made hands and getting premium pre-flop cards left and right.
Now, weeks later, it's like a minefield where everytime I get a hand, someone has a bigger one or outdraws me - boat over boat, quads over boat, flush over flush, AA and AK pf all in cracked by 85o that makes a random straight, etc.
It reminds me of games like League of Legends, where when you start winning too much, the MMR system starts putting bad players on your team or matches you against better teams so you start losing again.
Anyway, I'll be quitting ClubWPT Gold soon, and hope that more players move to Phenom.

Their rake is weird, it's 4% but it's not taken out mid-hand like some sites so you barely notice, especially at smaller stakes. So yeah I was wrong, I didn't know about the rake.
