you're welcome to like it of course, but no, it is not a "fine" movie. It is one of the worst movies ever made.

Audience and critic reviews place it at around a 7/10 movie.

It was fun! They bend bullets so you're not supposed to take it super seriously.

Acting was good. Fun action scenes. What didn't you like about it!

Yeah I'd be interested in some scathing points on why its one of the worst movies ever made. Its got some fun little moments

This is what I said about it after seeing Wanted:

decent action sequences, but really bad in the story department.

This thousand-year old cult of assassins gets its orders from...wait for it...

THE LOOM OF FATE!!!

Yes, a giant loom spins threads into patterns that can be translated into binary form and thus translated again into a person's name - who needs to be killed for some odd reason. And is yet never questioned by otherwise rational human beings.

No, I'm not making this up.

******

Don't forget the video-game level quality of its action scenes.

I'm probably being hyper olic by calling it the worst movie ever made...it's not THAT bad. But lord, it ain't good.

Wasn't the Loom a fake and that was the twist?

Or do you have a problem with the original loom? Please loom clarify.

So Wheel of Time, anyone watching? Is it worth it now?

Im hearing great things about season 3, but i dont know if i want to plow through 2 mediocre seasons with all the great shows currently airing

Season 3 is great. The previous 2 are a bore fest and if you're at all triggered by the Amazon's need to put 1 of each race in every scene, you're gonna **** bricks.

Like ffs theres a ***** group of people in the books that are pivotal to the story.

super white and gingers.

Half of them are ***** black but not half black, full black. hundreds of years of isolation in small groups yet 0 mixing. So annoying. Tons of **** like that. The main character's village is like 300 ppl and literally every scene is 1 full white, 1 full black, 1 full asian, 1 full arab, 1 full latino

But theres tons of stuff they do REALLY well.

Also major problem some low useless character is given so much screentime and his scenes are **** and he cant act.. he's the boyfriend of the creator. The creator being gay seems to need to make hjalf the cast gay too which doesnt bring anything to the show. He just wants to show same sex people have sex or kissing.

He's everything thats wrong with the LGBTQ movement. Im very pro-gay, ive lived around gay-trans people abroad for a decade. I love em, but this is the purple hair type ****.

Huh? Wait what? Someone is definitely triggered but its not me

reminds me of the gilded age

i love historical dramas so was excited to watch this

in the pilot episode they show the matriach of one of nyc's oldest families talking about her daughter or niece or something arriving today while also instructing the rest of her family to never associate with the family who just moved in next door because they are new money

as new money, they are sub human, not worth associating with, so you mustn't ever be seen around them

so we have that established

yet despite being new york's most prominent family with dozens of household servants, they don't have anyone at the train station to pickup the young female

so the daughter or niece or whatever of the most prominent family in america is slumming it riding next to a black woman on the train, and she becomes friends with her on the train

she is left to her own devices with nobody to pick her up and for some reason or another is unable to get home on her own so what does she do, she of course reaches out to the black woman for assistance

upon getting her safely home, the woman who just previously gave a lengthy hateful rant about almost nobody being their equals and they mustn't ever associate with any of those despicable new money or poors suddenly welcomes this black woman into her home with open arms and insists she works for them to thank her for her assistance

it's literally the modern equivalent of barron trump taking a greyhound bus from dc to nyc and then getting lost in penn station and asking an illegal immigrant homeless man to help him make his way to trump tower and then donald hugs the immigrant and offers him a position in his administration as thanks for saving barron

i tell you, if we keep going with amazon, we'll have them pretend that nazis were actually playing hide n seek with the jews and the showers were actually lazarus pit water.

latest episode actually starts with a non-passing Aes Sedai transexual.. Oh yes.

Any male born channeler is hunted down and killed because they become mad and kill everyone after. Whole season 1 is about this.

But nope. They put it an obvious trans as a leader in the Aes Sedai government.

That is the extend of amazon's ******ness.

ok that's kinda funny, sounds like the casting director is an elite troll

Pretty decent for a network game show, though that's a low bar.

Spoiler

Really hated that they spoiled Brian's exit in the episode title.

Seems like it should be a slam dunk win for the Jeopardy champion.

I think he has a good chance but there are some equalizing categories on the board. His first couple of games were thrilling.

Well, all my predictions for the second season of The Last Of Us just went to **** lol

Pretty amazing episode of TV!!

Game comparison:

the only real change they made was having it be Dina instead of Tommy. The rest of it was very close. Damn near line for line in the final bit. Even the set up of the horde pinning Abby down and Joel rescuing her.

In the game, the actual death scene was more vicious and angry. This version was… really sad. I liked how they showed the reactions from the others in real time. A case could be made for either version being better than the other.

As for the rest of the episode, that was all new, and freaking incredibly well done! That horde attack should have been in the game!!

yeah agree it was well done. I know the one of the complaints about the first season was

Spoiler

Not enough infected. So that attack on Jackson was a nice addition.

Spoiler
Show

The attack was crazy but it also being in the episode where you kill off Joel seems a little overloaded and like what else is the Jackson crew left to do this season. Ellie is going to Rocky montage and then go keep the family killing cycle going and take out Abby. Joel not letting Abby stew on the fact her father was about to kill an unarmed child

Holy ****, as someone who never played the game, I definitely did not see that coming. Damn. This is a Game Of Thrones level surprise.
