Moderation Questions
The last iteration of the moderation discussion thread was a complete disaster. Numerous attempts to keep it on topic fa
What does appear to be working fairly well is the new mod.
Craig, serious question, have you always felt like you have special abilities or is this something that happened recently?
The seed exists in everyone. It was cultivated in me largely out of necessity because Iβve dealt with chronic pain to some degree my entire life.
But yes, I was the five year old kid staring at the ceiling, unable to fall asleep, fantasizing about being someone great.

At what age did you start believing yourself to be a prophet or have a special connection with God? Can you be specific?
While I admit it’s amusing to watch a grown man behave in such an infantile and weak way, it is getting a little repetitive and uninspired.. It’s giving short king beta, as mongidig would say.
But honestly, is this pathological with you or just an emotional immaturity issue? It’s similar vibes to when I tell the kid I babysit that he can’t have ice cream for dinner so he refers to me only as “big back” for the rest of the evening even though I am very slender. That’s also amusing, by the way. Male petulance will never not be entertaining.
I guess we needed a replacement for Mets being the biggest whiny bitch in this thread.

At age 26 I had a deep ontological / spiritual experience that validated the risks I had taken up to that point. I knew it wasn’t me because, from my perspective, there was no reason for me to believe everything was going to work out. I had spiritual experiences before this one that didn’t last, but this is the one where I made the full ontological leap that’s lasted.
Since then (I’m age 40 now), it’s been gradual revelation and it’s become normalized. I mainly keep it private, but it’s not a big deal to me anymore. I know where humanity is going and mostly I’m just anxious to actualize it.
Thanks for sharing that with me. It helps me to understand you better. Sincerely π
I'm sill trying to understand the source of the disagreement between lagtight and craig. Is it who will win out of Alien and Predator?

Craig and I have very little point of agreement.
Even though Craig and I mostly use the same vocabulary, we typically do not use the same dictionary.
For example, when Craig and I use the word "salvation", we don't mean the same thing by the term.

In the Christian story, Christ is to eventually establish the kingdom of heaven down on Earth, but Christians havenβt seemed to grapple with what this means.
It means that heaven is no longer βup thereβ. In other words, salvation no longer means to die and ascend to heaven.
Iβm about moving forward in the story, so my version of Christianity is completely disorienting to traditional Christians.
Still, the story must progress.
Crossnerd,
Respect.

So this debate is about where heaven is physically located?

We finally agree on something!
Deuce is currently flooding the thread on the election of the pope with antisemitic garbage , can he be told just to stop?

Perhaps you could give the forum some hints on how to deal with the chronic pain that began when you first started posting here.
