Also big lols at the son of falcons DC being the guy who prank called him. Bigger lols that the nfl felt the need to launch a bigly investigation
Even bigger lolz the NFL hasn't figured out how to provide encrypted communications between teams and prospects to avoid this exact situation.
Sick troll. Ulbrich did not do well with Jets, who does.....but as a Dad? A++++ Well done
Completely agree. Beyond any talk of which QB is better, is Sanders worthy of a high pick, is Sanders good, etc., they've made a total mess of the locker room. If Gabriel gets washed out in the noise of all this which I think is pretty likely, it's just a total waste of a 3rd round pick and very on-brand for the Browns.
amazingly, the Watson, Pickett, Flacco, Gabriel, Sanders QB depth chart may not be the most dysfunctional in the NFL
I think that honour goes to Wilson, Jameis, Dart and fan favourite Tommy DeVito. Imagine any kind of collaboration or teamwork going on in there...Russ and Jameis have millions in playing time incentives, Russ is already assuming he's the starter and Jameis will assume he's better than both of them. Neither of them are gonna help or support or maybe even engage with a fluffy haired 22yr old white boy

I've always thought Dart was a head case, but he may be the gyroscope in the bowels of that Titanic mess.
I saw a clip a couple days ago where Gruden was with Dart discussing a TD pass to an uncovered receiver. More props on that play to Kiffin than Dart, but it was pretty damn funny.
I watched the whole episode, was good, love gruden.
Gruden's Grinders.
Poor OC & QB coach. Gonna be instructed to waste a lot of time to try to make the boss happy instead of doing what they think is best.
Donβt forget the daily joy of handicapping the Affirmed-Alydar race for the media after every meeting workout practice scrimmage and game.
Doubt it wouldβve hurt eitherβs future job prospects had they resigned on the spot, as some Dallas people reportedly threatened to do when Jerry was pounding the table for Manziel.

My wife worked for an NFL team for 7 years, her take was that things were generally pretty shoddy behind the curtain. Which makes perfect sense it's show business.
But like copy machines and **** would break down constantly and keep getting serviced when they should be replaced, their ERP software was kind of half-ass, enough to keep things working but pretty far from state of the art. Getting deliveries was a chore and receiving/warehousing was understaffed. She was using a Dell Optiplex that was 10 years old, and once repaired by cannibalizing from another ancient Dell Optiplex.
As she put it, huge gap between NFL business and NFL Team business, one is a 10 billion enterprise and one has you wearing your coat all day since the heater always breaks.
And she certainly had it better than most small-market teams and God forbid whoever had to work for the Dan Snyder-era Redskins
Why did she work with a team for 7 years then?
Spoiler
Is it because she broke a mirror?
Mel Kiper's Draft Grades
A+: Browns
A: Seahawks
A-: Pats, Giants, Eagles
B+: Ravens, Bears, Texans, Chiefs, Chargers, Titans, Commies
B: Cowboys, Packers, Colts, Jags, Raiders, Jets, 49ers, Bucs
B-: Cards, Bills, Broncos, Rams, Vikings, Saints, Steelers
C+: Panthers, Lions, Dolphins
C: Falcons, Bengals
Shockingly, Kiper has the Browns as the only A+. Probably because they took the "best player" in the 5th. He never thinks he's wrong about anything.
This is the worst Draft Grade list I've seen.
Kiper used to be pretty sharp. I wonder if he's experiencing early senility.

Only two teams scored average. Everybody else was above average!
Well done, folks!

I know someone who used to work for MLB and it was pretty similar to what you described. The only thing they didn't cheap out on was health insurance. He had the same coverage as the players and umpires which is phenomenal.
I'd prefer it if he gave the Lions draft a F, tbqh.
Mel Kiper sounds like he enjoys the smell of his own farts.
The guy on NFL.com did his usual and gave everyone at least a B-. Kiper giving a team who used four of seven picks on QB/RB an A+ because his friends kid got picked is unsurprising. The trade down was good I guess.
Kittle highest paid TE but less than $20m, I'm pretty surprised so good thing I wimped out on that bet
