Survivor: GENERAL THREAD
I wanted to post something Survivor related but realized there's no general thread about Survivor. Each thread is about
Why don't you think so?
Honestly, you could argue she's played one of the more dominant games in recent Survivor history.
Won immunities
Found advantages
Led the dominant season alliance
Great personal story if you're into that kind of thing
No real blood on her hands with the jury
Never received a vote at any tribal
So at the time I was basing this take on;
1) Eva's own admission she struggles to make relationships with women
2) She is the youngest person on the cast which can always be a tricky spot to gain respect from a jury. Xander being an obvious comparison here.
3) A possible jury perception that she has already got 'what she wanted out of the experience' with her autism journey and raising awareness of neurodiversity
4) A jury perception that she was riding the coat tails of the big athletic men in Joe + David
Now since then I have one small pro from the post merge;
1) She appears to have cultivated a good relationship with Mary
But also one small negative;
2) The fact she hasn't been targeted despite having a public idol could be partially for a similar reason Xander/Sue were not targeted with theirs either.
I still think she can win but she probably needs the following to get her over the line
1) Joe (and arguably Kyle) on the jury. Neither of which she is actively trying to put there currently
2) Some flashyness with both her safety without power + idol play
3) Some sort of move or general 'thing' she can point to as independently her own, rather than her+Joe
These players are pussies
That was basically 90 minutes of finding out who was going to eat sushi
These people have no backbone. Lame.
Safe to say we aren't going to see anyone from this season on S50 at least. What a lame season.
They all want their friends to win a million dollars. How inspiring.
That was lame.... is everyone but Joe and Eva expecting to win 3 immunity challenges in a row, ffs.
You had Joe not winning the challenge, and Eva not feeling a need to protect him, and you all jammed out.
This episode could be a case study on missing the perfect time to " make a move"

The episode is the lowest rated episode on imdb ever.
I still havent watched the newest episode. This season can't get over soon enough.

And last week's episode was the second lowest rated ever haha. This season has been rough.
Ironically, the highest rated ever was just last season. The Operation: Italy episode.

Exactly who you would have expected to go home, went home. Star last week and Mary this week. There is no gameplay. They're all just hanging out until one of them wins the million dollars, I guess. I wouldn't be surprised if Mitch is voted out next week then we have a boring final 5. At which point, if Shauhin doesn't win immunity, I'm guessing it'll be him since he doesn't have a strong 2. If he does win immunity, I guess it'll be his decision who goes home, since we know Joe/Eva and Kyle/Kamilla aren't flipping on each other.
Then we'll have a boring fire making challenge, with a boring FTC about how they all got there together, and then a boring jury vote where someone has to eventually win. Maybe votes will then be 3-3-2 and the 3rd place finisher will have the heartbreaking task of picking one of their new best friends to win a million dollars.
I would think the Joe, Eva, Shauhin trifecta are more likely to stick strong and vote Kamilla out before they would turn on Shauhin, if everything goes the way it has been. Maybe Shauhin tries a move and Kyle/Kamilla turn Joe/Eva on him to save Kamilla.
David moment of solidarity at tribal was pretty hilarious though. Absolutely so bitter.

That’s fair. We know Eva will be safe, since I don’t expect she will have to play her idol at 6. So who wins individual immunity will decide a lot.
You could leave Joe on that beach for 40 days and 40 nights and he would never solve “unforgettable”
